"Mixed Experience at The Brennity"
The overall experience was okay. The food was really good, and the prices were better than most. However, the care provided was just okay. I was very disappointed with The Brennity's medication management – I had to keep a close eye on it. There were many mistakes, and getting a call back was nearly impossible. Lastly, I never received a sympathy card from them. Considering everything, I wouldn't recommend The Brennity.

"Great food, but watch the meds"
What we really like about Brennity at Vero Beach is the food. It's great! They offer a good variety. I've eaten there a few times and it's always delicious. Our loved one never complains, unlike at the previous place. Where they could improve is the medication management. Yes, we would recommend this place to other families, but someone in the family needs to oversee the ordering of meds and the times they are given, especially when the resident is new to the place.

The tour was great. They provided everything my loved one needed. They have assisted living and memory care. The facility was nice, and the community was great. Unfortunately, there was no availability for my loved one to move in.

This place is nice with high ceilings and friendly staff. The only problem is there are no outdoor porches, and they didn’t have any rooms available on the first floor.

The Brennity is a lovely place. They have great food and lots of activities for the residents. My dad got comfortable really fast, and he’s happy there. The staff is very helpful and nice. We would definitely tell others to check it out.

"Brennity: Broken Promises, Unsafe Conditions, and Poor Management"
Brennity may not be the right fit for you! A cottage could indeed be cozy, but my own experience was unfortunately far from it. They had promised to paint my cottage, but Brennity's salesperson straight up lied about it and it never happened. Thus, my walls are littered with nail holes and damaged sections, while the house next to me is quite distressed. The condition is deplorable, and worse still, management appears to be aware but does nothing to improve it, allowing the property to fall into further disarray. I've had two incidents where I've fallen. The first was due to a hole in my backyard, which resulted in an ankle injury. The second was in the main building, caused by the director's dog knocking me down. I'm still nursing bruises from those mishaps. And on top of these, I felt duped when I found out that some of my neighbors were given a free golf cart. The salesperson alleged that my husband, who is an avid golfer and even has a golf membership, turned down the offer for a free cart. What golfer would reject a free golf cart? Moreover, avoid the dining room at all costs. We had such a bad experience with an extremely rude employee that we never went back. Despite several complaints, management has taken no action. And don't even get me started on their bookkeeping... So, my advice would be to search for a safer, more comfortable home. I deeply regret choosing to live here and wish I could just get a refund.

"Great Care and Close By"
My family is very happy with this place. My step-mom is here, and the staff has been very nice. My dad spends the most time there and says the staff is very kind to her. They have more staff than some other places we checked, which we really wanted. My dad tried the food and said it's good. Both of them seem happy with it. The place looks very clean and nice, with no weird smells. There are some activities like drawing that even include my dad. Other residents seem happy too. The building is very close to my dad, just 5 minutes away. So far, I've had a good experience.

"Good Tour of a Very Nice Community"
My visit to this place was nice. The staff was friendly and kind. Everything looked clean and well-maintained. Although pleasant, it wasn't the right fit for my father.

"Helpful Staff and Nice Facilities!!"
When I first arrived at the community, I didn’t feel the atmosphere I hoped for. However, the tour guide was really helpful and answered all my questions. They showed me the bedrooms and dining room, which I thought looked great. I also liked that there was transportation available for residents who need it.

"Nice place, but expensive"
I visited this community while looking for care options for a loved one. The place looked very nice, was well-kept, and clean. All the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. But, it was very expensive. We chose another community, but I would have considered this one for my loved one.

He is a man of integrity and made the entire process smooth and easy! She has been fantastic in helping everything go wonderfully during the transition. She’s always there to assist with anything we need! She regularly checks in to make sure our family is happy with all the arrangements. He gets things done quickly and truly cares about our whole family. You can't make a better choice than The BRENNITY! We are so glad we did!

"Friendly Atmosphere with Room for Improvement"
I've been here for a month. Everyone, both residents and staff, is super nice. The food's good with plenty of choices. We get two meals plus breakfast included, but I wish breakfast could start later for those who like to sleep in, and it needs more variety. I enjoy the different exercise programs, but there aren't many activities in the evenings or on weekends. It would be better if they mixed it up with non-exercise activities too.

"Great first impression!"
Our first impression was great! Our friends who live here recommended it. We took a tour, and it went really well. The staff and residents were friendly, and the facility is very nice. The value is excellent too! I can’t rate the care services or activities yet since we haven’t moved in. We will be moving in soon, and I would recommend this place.

"Totally Satisfied With Mom's Assisted Living: I'm at Ease!"
My mom's a resident here, and I couldn't be happier. Everyone's always cheery, always ready to help. They take great care of mom, checking in on what she needs, guiding her to meals, then back to her room. There was this guy, Hobo Jim, who got everybody grooving in their seats, even saw a few pairs dancing! It's like we're living in a vacation resort. The staff in the dining room are super respectful, filling up water glasses, and saying 'Yes mam!', which is something you hardly hear these days. I really can't praise this place enough. I have peace of mind knowing mom's safe, happy, and in a really nice, tidy environment. Thanks a ton!

"Brennity at Vero Beach"
My mother has done well here. She seems happy and has gained weight. Before moving in last June, she wasn't eating well and was living alone far from family. She's more involved in activities and is more social. The facility is well kept, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There's a staff doctor. The value for the cost is good, but it is expensive—residents will need assets.

My dad's in assisted living. Mom handles bills; I get updates. We got a vet discount, but costs rose. Dad's incontinence led to more fees, despite noting it at admission. Mystery charges cropped up, deleted when questioned. Visit often; staff attention matters for care.

"Impressed with Brennity at Vero Beach"
Very impressed with the facility. It's clean with appealing decor. Staff are friendly and attentive. Ann was great at answering our questions and giving us options for both parents. However, they don't have one-bedroom apartments. The rooms looked too clinical for my mother-in-law's expectations. The memory unit would be perfect for my father-in-law alone. We'll be checking out some apartment-type facilities in Lexington, KY. Otherwise, we will keep Brennity as an option.

"My Father-in-Law's Positive Assisted Living Experience"
My 98-year-old father-in-law has been at the Brennity at Vero Beach for 6 weeks. I'm very pleased with his experience. He's in the assisted living section with top-level care. He has his own room and furnishings. The staff is kind and attentive. I appreciate the personal beeper system for help. Many activities keep him engaged. Overall, it's been a wonderful experience.

"Feels Like Home"
The staff here really knows how to care for elderly people. They have fun activities every afternoon that everyone can join. I picked this place for my mom because it feels like home and has only one level, so no stairs or elevators. My mom says the food tastes like home cooking. The staff knows everyone by name and greets you personally.
