"Staff Struggles and Mediocre Meals"
Sometimes the staff seems busy and needs reminders to help with daily tasks. The meals haven’t been great.

"New management, some initial issues, mixed resident experiences"
They changed management and had some initial disorganization in care. Communication is inconsistent. New management is still settling in. My mom's experience is good, but other residents' past concerns linger.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Food Upgrade, Activities Good, Value Mediocre"
This place needs to work on the food they serve. It's not so great. But hey, the activities they have are pretty good. Still, they could make it a better deal for the money.

"Assisted Living Facility Provides Safe, Responsive Care for Residents"
Overall, I'd rate it 4 out of 5. My dad feels safe, with his needs met. Some staff understand him better. Some allow residents to stay in their rooms on weekends. Talking to residents, they seem happy. Dad prefers being with people, so he gets bored when others are in their rooms. Overall, he's happy, much happier than when he was with me, feeling in the way at home. Whenever I raise concerns, they address them promptly. The staff are very responsive.

"Beautiful Assisted Living, Pricey Choice"
We really liked The Carlisle Palm Beach—it was beautiful and super clean. But it was too pricey, so we went with another place.

" 'Terrible Service and Food at The Carlisle"
I moved into The Carlisle for the nice view, but that's about all I like about this place. The rest has just been letdowns and disappointments. The service here stinks, the people in charge don't seem to have a clue what's going on, and the food is terrible. The other people who live here aren't very friendly either, so I mostly just keep to myself. When I first checked out the place, it seemed pretty decent. Even the food actually seemed good because the chef was making this fancy peach dessert. But then I moved in and found out the food is pretty much disgusting. We get two menus - a main one and another with different choices - but half the time they say they don't have the stuff that's listed. Their "catch of the day" fish is horrible, and it seems like now all they ever serve is pasta. It's definitely not the diet I want to be on. The worst part of my day is having to leave my room for dinner, only to walk away hungry because the food is so bad. Sometimes I have to make my own meals using whatever random stuff I can find, and that usually doesn't turn out great. I can't even get a refill on soda without a problem, and the desserts they serve are undercooked. Another bad experience I had was when I was trying to send back some cable and Wi-Fi equipment. I left the box for the front desk to deal with, but someone went into my room without asking me and took it. Then they didn't even send it out. It took two weeks of me complaining for them to finally take care of it. When I moved in, there were some things in the apartment that needed fixing. I had to call the office a bunch of times before anything got done. And as nice as the view of the ocean is, it's not enough to make me feel happy here. The management recently changed and the new people are, honestly, pretty terrible. One of them even told me the residents here are just sources for them to make money from. I even had trouble when I needed to change my will. I needed a notary public as a witness, but they didn't even know what that was and they don't have one. Seems to me like they should, especially since there are lots of elderly people living here. To top it all off, I was told when I moved in that there would be a doctor on-site. Turns out that was a big fat lie. I ended up having to handle a serious injury by myself, which definitely wasn't something I was expecting to deal with. All in all, I'm not happy living here. I don't enjoy it and I definitely don't feel like it's worth the money I'm paying. And the worst part is that everyone around here says this is the best place like this in the area. I can’t even imagine a worse spot.'

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The care services used to be terrible, but they've improved since the new nursing manager arrived. My main issue is that the staff doesn't use computers or have a good phone system. Filling out paperwork can be tough when I'm not nearby. The place looks nice, but the care could be better. Meals are great, though. Overall, not bad, but I expected better for the price.
