"Great Value with Good Nursing and PT"
The quality of care can be tricky. Some of the home health aides aren't that great, but you'll probably find that in every facility. However, the nursing and physical therapy have been really good. They could have more and better activities. The value for the cost is great. When you compare costs, you get a pretty decent place that is affordable.

"Facility Unable to Handle Severe Dementia; Broken Amenities"
My dad stayed in the memory care section for about a week. This place isn't suitable for people with severe dementia or typical dementia-related problems. Furthermore, his room's toilet was broken and it was never repaired.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
We visited during a tough transition to Bayside. The follow-up from the office staff has been difficult. However, the staff working here are wonderful and stay informed. I mention this because we never got the names of the doctors who visit to help my mom find a new primary doctor. Nonetheless, I found the group and chose a kind Nurse Practitioner who now sees her regularly.

"Assisted Living Adjusting with Staff Changes and Improved Meals"
The people working there now are really nice, but many of them are leaving because they're getting new ones. We got to know some of the old staff, but they've left. They just hired a new chef, and the food is getting tastier. Things are getting better overall.

"Great care, lots of activities, and helpful staff"
This place is really good, and I'm pleased with how she’s treated and cared for. The staff are very helpful and listen to any concerns to make things right for your loved one. They offer a lot of activities, such as theater, bingo, church services, live music, and singing. There are also options for walking, exercising, and more to keep residents engaged and active.

"Great Value and Friendly Atmosphere!"
The Wickshire Ft. Myers community is really bright, happy, and clean. We like their nice apartments, even though the meals can be hit or miss. Overall, they do a good job with dining service, and it’s a great value for the money.

"More Offerings and Enjoyable Experience at Wickshire Assisted Living"
We chose Wickshire because they offered more than other places. They have a doctor and nurse who visit twice a week to help residents. Although my dad has been here briefly, he had a good time.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Community"
Our family members like the meals, dining service, and activities, but we wouldn’t currently recommend this community to others.

"Sick Relative, Overcharging and Lack of Activities at Facility"
While our family member was there, they became seriously underfed. The staff didn't help them with eating or drinking water like we asked. Because of this, they ended up in the hospital for [dates removed]. Even though our relative had left, we received hefty bills from the facility. Plus, the only activity available is bingo, with nothing else on offer. We believe this place is a complete rip-off, a total sham. Even the hospital doctors did not want them returning to that terrible place.

"Beautiful Setting, Lacking Care"
The place looks nice, but they don't take good care of you considering what you pay.

"Virtual Tour with Friendly Staff"
We took a virtual tour of this community. The staff was super friendly and shared lots of helpful info. The tour went well, but unfortunately, we couldn't do an in-person visit due to COVID.

"Father Well Taken Care of in Assisted Living Community"
My dad's doing much better since moving here. I'm happy with his new home. They're really looking after him and his needs. The staff pay attention and are helpful. There are activities all day long. The food is balanced and good. I feel he's safe and in good hands here. Everything's going smoothly, and I'd suggest it.

"Wonderful Respite Stay for My Mom at This Facility"
I was really happy with my mother’s respite stay here. She enjoyed it a lot and said everyone was very kind. The staff was awesome and always attentive. They made sure all her needs were met, so I felt she was in good hands. They even helped me out with last-minute requests. The community looks fantastic, and everything is nice and clean.

"Safe, Caring Community Friend Feels Secure Yet Longs for Freedom"
My friend lives at this place, and they take good care of him. He sometimes feels trapped because it's secure, but there's a nice garden he should explore. The food is good, especially for his diabetes, and he gets help with his meds.
