"Avoid Elevated Estates Edwinola: Many Issues and Poor Service"
Elevated Estates Edwinola has too many problems. There are leaks, and sometimes the air conditioning and heating don’t work for days. The internet for TV is unreliable. They also get mixed up with medications. The elevators often don’t work. The food is terrible. Their community bus isn’t suitable for walkers or wheelchairs. Overall, it’s a bad experience. I wouldn’t suggest it to anyone else.

"Newly Renovated Assisted Living with Charming Features"
This facility offers newly remodeled studio suites in a former hotel building. The main house and its long porch are beautifully maintained. Across the street, a park adds to the pleasant surroundings, especially festive during Christmas. Most apartments feature balconies, and there's a secure garden with a gazebo. However, the elevator requires frequent repairs. The facility is very clean with no unpleasant odors, and it includes a small, convenient store and beauty shop.

"“Elevated Estates Edwinola Falls Short”"
My family member used to live at Elevated Estates Edwinola, and our time there wasn’t great. If safety had a score, it would be zero. The place was kind of clean and friendly, but the staff and value for money were bad. The care services and meals were awful. I wouldn’t suggest Elevated Estates Edwinola to anyone. I wish it had been better, but it just wasn’t.

"Struggling to Get Responses After Moving In"
We can help you out, but we're not happy with how long it takes to hear back from them after moving in. When my mother-in-law moved to long-term care, we didn't hear anything from Edwinola after letting them know. We also tried to reach out to A Place for Mom again, but got no calls back after leaving messages for two different people. The staff was nice when we were considering moving in, but it's been tough to get in touch with anyone since then.

"Unhealthy Conditions and Insufficient Food at Living Facility"
As I mentioned before, the food is delivered to our floor using the same elevator that all the residents use, even when they’re coughing and sneezing. It’s not the healthiest situation. The meals we receive are often cold, and there’s just not enough to eat; everyone is left feeling hungry. Also, the elevator has some safety issues that need to be addressed.

"Inconsistent Communication; Decent Activities"
This place isn't as great as it seems. The workers often tell fibs, making it frustrating. I received a bunch of wrong info. Despite its pleasant atmosphere, dealing with them can be tough. They offer activities like yoga, workouts, church, bingo, and more, plus someone to lead activities, which is nice.

"You Get What You Pay For at The Edwinola"
I visited The Edwinola, and I think it's okay. The people working there didn't seem very professional, and the place wasn't as clean as where we decided to go.

"Dirty facility, poor memory care, and money issues."
We moved our family member out after only a few days. If your family member needs regular assisted living, it could work. However, they’re really not set up for memory care. During our first visit, the place was extremely dirty. They even had a gross-looking couch in the main hang-out area. They also messed us around with the money part, which was completely unfair.

""Unattractive Facility with Mold; Seems like a Jail""
I took a drive to check out this facility and see if I can find it easily. The front of it seemed pretty good. But the rest of the outside looked gross, all covered in green mold and what looks like mildew. The place reminded me of a jail. It's ugly and kinda frightening. I don't plan to come back.

"Needs more staff and cleaner dining chairs."
Our eight-story building has just one maintenance worker. We need another to assist. Also, the dining room chairs require steam cleaning and plastic covers for hygiene.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Our loved one stayed there for about three weeks, mainly during the lockdown on the memory care side. Unfortunately, due to their health issues, we received a call asking us to move them out because of combative behavior. The building is older but clean. However, the food in memory care was terrible—everything served in a box.
