"Neglected patient at Sanai facility, uncompassionate staff, poor service"
Sanai's care home looks tidy and presentable, but don't be fooled. It was a terrible experience for our family. We were shocked when we were told out of the blue, on a late Friday afternoon, that my mom needed 24-hour help while in the Skilled Nursing section. This came when my mom was already on her way in an ambulance. They wouldn't admit her unless we had an aide ready. We had to scramble under stress to find someone, fearing they would reject my mom otherwise. Contacting the caregivers or nurses was a challenge; their mobile phone voicemails often full. When my mom died, they showed no sensitivity. The first thing they wanted to know was when we would clear her apartment (she stayed there under Memory Care).
