"Hard to recommend; more suited to independent individuals"
This place isn't great for someone who requires a lot of direct care. Dealing with the nursing and care staff can be hard when trying to figure out solutions to problems. If a person can take care of most stuff on their own, it might be fine. But I wouldn't suggest choosing this facility.

"Mixed Experience with Staff at The Preserve at Palm Aire"
Most staff at The Preserve at Palm Aire are friendly. However, dining room servers are unfriendly and slow with meals. Overall, still recommend due to good operation.

"Mixed Experience at The Preserve: Food and Staffing Issues"
My family member lives at The Preserve at Palm-Aire. It's been alright. They promise a lot to get you in, but the food isn't great, and they don't have enough staff in the dining room. Everyone complains about the meals. One night, they even had to shut down the restaurant. The cleaning staff seems out of touch and doesn't do a good job. But, it's close to where I live, so my family member stays there.

"Cold Food and Lack of Help: A Dreadful Assisted Living Experience"
My stay at this place has been dreadful. I mostly complain about the food - it's always cold, regardless of what it is. It improved when they brought in a new cook but after they let him go, it went back to being bad. The meat, veggies, everything arrives cold. Most of us don't even go to the dining hall to eat now, we rather have it brought to our rooms so we can warm it up ourselves. Another issue is they don't listen to our problems. They tell you to leave if you complain. This place runs on a month to month basis, so it's easy for them to say that. Also, help is hardly ever around. I know of 2 people who fell and needed help but had to wait over an hour after pressing their 'help button.' It's really bad. Physical Therapy is the only good thing here. Both my husband and I benefit from it. But that's not enough. I really wonder how this place still operates. I doubt the owners realize how badly the place is being managed. Hardly any independent residents remain. My son moved us here so we could have help when we need it, but there's no help to be found. I wouldn't advise anyone to choose this place.

"Resident praises staff, amenities, and community engagement at Palm-Aire facility."
I visited seven places before choosing this facility to live in. I love it here. They have a board of residents, and we meet every month to share complaints, ideas, and praise, which I think is wonderful. The staff here are fantastic. I can't say enough good things about them. The administrative staff are great too. We have transportation to many places and lots of activities to join. I live in a wonderful apartment with all stainless steel appliances. Having a washer and dryer in the unit has been great. I also have a lovely view from my apartment. I enjoy the food here, and if there's something on the menu that you might not want, you can flip it over and find a whole page of other things you can order. I am really enjoying my stay here and would definitely recommend The Preserve at Palm-Aire.

"Neglectful & Deceptive Actions by Assisted Living Facility"
My mom stays at a memory care facility and it's awful! Here's why: 1. First off, they promised my mom a specific room. But right before she moved in, they said it wasn't available anymore. They probably knew this when they made the promise. 2. The facility wouldn't give my mom the medicine she needs. Their excuse? They messed up the paperwork when she joined and it's my job to sort it out. 3. I tried reaching their head nurse, but she never called back. When I tried calling again, her mailbox was full - and it was still full days later, even though I had already informed the director. 4. I filed a complaint with AHCA, and the director fought back by trying to evict my mom and threatened to accuse me of elder abuse. Really classy. 5. They even lied to other people, saying I wouldn't get my mom a phone when I totally would. But that's not all - there's just too much to write in here.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
The food isn't good and portions are small. The front desk staff is unhelpful and clueless. Overall, everything else is good. They could improve by having better food, bigger portions, and more knowledgeable staff.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvements in Safety and Maintenance"
This place could be better. There are a lot of little things broken around, and they don't always fix them, which isn't safe. Also, the food isn't good, and we have to cook more than we expected, which costs extra money. But the scariest thing is safety. Sometimes they leave gates open, and anyone could come in. The dog park isn't safe either because it's dark and the ground is uneven, making it hard for people with walkers or wheelchairs to go there.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
Our family visited the assisted living facility in person, and the staff were really friendly. Overall, it seemed like a good choice for us. However, they didn't have a two-bedroom apartment available at the time, and the place felt a bit too large and institutional for our loved one.

"Responsive staff and accommodating meals make this community recommendable for seniors."
This has been a great experience for our family and our loved one so far. The staff communicates well with us. They quickly address any concerns or questions we have about our loved one. They serve three meals a day to the residents, and they can accommodate dietary restrictions for our loved one, too. This is a community I would suggest to others for their loved ones.
