"Assisted Living Facility Transition Needs Improvement"
My family member moved in a few months ago. Since the management changed to Sonata, things haven't been smooth. The routines and how things are managed aren't as good as they should be. But, the staff who directly help my mom - like the nurses and assistants - are good. We hope all the things they promised - like regular showers, laundry, cleaning, and daily activities - will start happening soon. Otherwise, the cost of this place is too much for what they're offering right now.

"New Ownership Worries, But Staff Still Welcoming"
The staff and care have been really good. My Dad is having a great time. But they just told us about new owners, which was surprising and a bit worrying since they didn’t mention it before. I hope this doesn’t change anything or affect the friendly management we have now. Fingers crossed.

"Understaffed Facility, Poor Memory Care, Overpriced Rooms"
I strongly advise against choosing this facility! Their memory care is highly disappointing - you're forced to bring in private caretakers due to their understaffing problem. The outrageous payment you make only covers the room! Seriously, don't leave your precious family member here!

"Upscale Assisted Living Tour"
I visited Azpira at Windermere, and the tour went well. The place looks upscale. Overall, a good experience.

"Clean and Pleasant, But Lacking Amenities"
I liked Azpira at Windermere. The place was neat and attractive, but nothing else caught my attention. The location lacked nearby stores and amenities.

"Beautiful Facility, But Not One Level"
We had a really good tour at Azpira at Windermere. The place is really beautiful. The only problem for us was that it has multiple levels, and we wanted a one-level memory care facility. So, it didn't fit what we needed.

"Nice Facility, Slightly Distant"
Azpira at Windermere was nice, but a bit far for visits.

"Great location and look, but menu needs more variety"
We picked Azpira at Windermere because we liked where it was and how it looked. The rooms are small but like other places we saw. They could have more food options because they serve a lot of chicken. Overall, I would recommend it to others.

" Improvements needed in Direction and Management of Nursing Staff."
The rooms are pretty well-designed, but the size isn't as big as they tell you; it's about 20% smaller. The activities are high-quality and this is thanks to the dedicated people running them. Lots of great stuff is available here. But, if you or someone you love needs more medical attention, the Sheridan might not be the right choice. Many of their Nursing Assistants act impolite, sluggish, and lazy. The Nurses mostly prepare medication, hold staff meetings and do paperwork. They won't even apply a bandage unless a doctor gives them the go-ahead. Keep all your valuable stuff safe. We lost priceless jewelry during a move. Some of their Nursing Assistants are sly and seem to have a gift for swiping stuff. The problem with careless nursing seems to start at the top. The memory of poor, sick shuffling in her nightdress towards the nurse's station because nobody would respond to her call button is something I won't forget. After I let the nurse and Nursing Assistant know about condition, it took the Nursing Assistant 10 minutes to get there and the nurse didn't bother to go check on the sick lady. The Director doesn't fire any problematic employees, but instead makes residents who complain feel unwelcome.

"Mixed Feelings About The Sheridan Experience"
The rooms here are pretty good, but aren't as big as they say they are, think 20% smaller. They have a lot of fun activities and stuff though. But if your family member needs a nurse, don't choose the Sheridan. Most of the nurses assistants aren't nice and sadly, they're not very fast or hard working. The practical nurses can only do stuff like give out medicine, have staff meetings, and write reports. They can't even put a bandaid on you without a doctor saying it's okay. I'll never forget seeing poor in her nightgown, moving slowly toward the nurse's office because nobody was answering her help button. The problem with how the nurses are doing their job starts with the person in charge. The Director doesn't fire bad workers, but they make the people that live there and complain want to leave.
