"Disappointed with declining food quality after chef departure."
The food isn't as good as it used to be since the old chef left.

"Great place but needs better new resident orientation"
Our time at Wayman Place has been pretty good so far; I don’t have many complaints. I think they should give new residents more information about how to find and ask for things. A better tour or orientation with a list of services would help. They’ve been busy because of the hurricane, but the community is clean. My loved one and my grandparent both like it. However, if they don’t ask for schedules, they wouldn’t know about them. They need to improve on that a bit, but other than that, everything’s good.

"Friendly Staff and Modern Amenities Shine"
All the folks here grumble about the food, but I don’t find it terrible. Whenever I drop by, there are fun activities for residents to pick from. The place is modern, and the staff is super helpful.

"Mixed Experience, Mostly Positive"
This place is pretty good overall. It’s not huge, and my loved one feels comfortable here. The only problem is that assistance isn’t always prompt. Staff are great, except for one issue.

"Inconsistent service, cleanliness, and billing issues in assisted living."
My family member's rooms had bugs twice. The cleaners aren't reliable, and the rooms get very dirty. Also, there are problems with billing and getting explanations.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvement"
This place is just okay. It doesn't feel worth the money. My loved one's room isn't very clean, despite complaints. The staff should be better trained in memory care. People are nice, but there's room for improvement. They have a new director who's more involved.

"Inconsistent Care at Assisted Living Facility"
The help at this place may change, and there's no chef right now. We're sending food to our family member so she won't go hungry. They're searching for a new chef actively. They also lost their cleaner and maintenance person, but everyone's trying to help out. Our aunt ended up in the hospital; she got sick during the night, and her clothes and bed weren't cleaned, so she had to lie in mess all night. They do check everyone's temperature daily, maybe they started with two, but thankfully, no deaths and no cases currently.

"Mixed Feelings about Wayman Place Assisted Living Facility"
Wayman Place is super clean but not worth the money. Some staff are friendly, others not so much. Food options limited and quality isn't great. During COVID, cleanliness and assistance dropped. Loved one's room was neglected.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvements for Alzheimer's Care"
My grandma with Alzheimer's didn't like it here. The backyard had a hole where she could wander off unnoticed. It smelled bad.

"Not the best for Alzheimer's; security risk and unpleasant odor"
My grandma with Alzheimer's didn't really suit this place. There was a spot in the yard where she could have wandered off without anyone noticing. Plus, the place didn't smell too great.

"Five Stars for Wayman Place"
Moving my husband to Wayman Place in Longwood was a great decision after a stressful month at another facility! The people here, from the top level down to the caregivers who do the actual caring, are truly wonderful! This job can lead to burnout quickly, but I see none of that here! The workers are very pleasant, accommodating, and compassionate, and the residents seem very happy, which says a lot. I truly appreciate the wonderful care my husband gets here!

"Husband Is Thriving Here"
My husband is doing well in this community. I feel he is in good hands and safe here. The staff takes good care of him and meets his needs. The place is clean, and he has even gained a few pounds because he enjoys the meals. There are nice activities for the residents, and he has gotten involved in the community. Everything is going well so far. I would recommend this place to my friends; it’s working out great for us.

"Friendly staff and a caring community!"
Mom is still getting used to living here. The staff is encouraging and treats her well. I feel good about her living here. We noticed the staff and residents are friendlier than at other places we checked out. The food is okay, and they even had a family barbecue with a live band. The community is well cared for, and they offer some daily activities. I would recommend this place.

"The Best Out of 3 Other Places"
I’ve had a really great experience here in Assisted Living. I love it! This is my third place, and it’s the best for me. I like my food warm; I used to get cold meals at the other places. The service is good, my bedroom is nice, and my TV works great.

"A great choice for my mom!"
This is a nice place for my mom. I like the staff, and they are always helpful. The menu looks good, and my mom hasn’t moved in yet, but we know this will be a great decision for her to join this community. We liked the list of activities she can take part in. We would recommend this community to other families for care.

"Friendly and Welcoming Staff!"
I really liked my tour of this community. The staff were very friendly and made my mother and me feel welcome. I liked that it was a smaller community with fewer residents. They had a good staff-to-patient ratio, which was a big plus for me. It was just a little out of our budget for my mother to live there.

"My Thought Of The Tour"
This community for assisted living was pleasant, but we were hoping for a more independent setting. The people I met were friendly, and they do have enjoyable activities.
