The administration is approachable. Housekeeping puts in a lot of effort. However, the night staff has been slow to respond to resident alerts. Additionally, there is a noticeable issue with flies in the cafeteria.

"Expensive Assisted Living with Communication Issues"
Most of the staff are nice, but sometimes they take too long to help residents. When I complained, one staff member was really rude to my loved one. Communication about health is okay. The moving process was fine, but they didn’t tell us about extra costs for the last week of the month. I wouldn’t recommend this place because it’s too expensive. The food is okay, and they make you switch to Medicare. My loved one’s medication costs are too high now. Families should know this!

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Seeking Clarification on Costs"
We were given incorrect information at the start. Those two staff members are no longer working here. However, the current staff has been very helpful in getting us what we need after the initial mix-up. It has been some time, so we're not sure if the cost is still as good as it was. Gardens of Westbrooke was more affordable. I hope this helps!

I have a few problems at the moment and I'm not satisfied. One issue is that they don't respond very fast. Sometimes, you have to ask more than once or call again to hear back.

"Consistent Care and Engaging Activities at Assisted Living Facility"
We rated it 4 out of 5 stars because sometimes the nurses respond quickly, but other times not as fast. However, the staff are really nice; they always talk with the residents. There are many activities, and the meals are really tasty. The way they give out medicine to the residents is very helpful. Overall, it has been a really good experience for us.

I don’t have any complaints; everything is great. I’ve lived in three different communities, and the activities, activities director, and assistants here are the best. The Gardens of Westbrooke really goes the extra mile to keep us happy!

"Brief Stay Overpowered by Unpleasant Smoking Area"
My mom stayed here for just a week before she could move into a different place. I really appreciate the staff for their effort in getting my mom involved in some activities and they provided her with a comfortable room too. What I didn't like though, was the smoking area. It was right in the front, making the smoke drift in the air and into the building. This was unpleasant for visitors who had to pass by it to enter the building.

"Everyone smiles!"
The Westbrooke Manor is a great place, and I highly recommend it. The staff is amazing, and when you walk in, everyone smiles, especially the residents. They all seem so happy. When I was moving my mom in, they were super helpful and even worked around my schedule. I couldn't have chosen a better place. Mom is very happy here.

"Chose this place because the staff is amazing"
We picked this place because the staff is amazing. A caregiver we worked with before highly recommended it. It’s a great place for her. It’s not the fanciest, but the people are truly wonderful. It doesn’t matter if it's the cleaning staff, front desk, or anyone else—everyone knows her name and takes the time to say hi.
