"Great tour, but chose another place."
The tour at this community was great. The place was nice, but we found another community that fit better for my loved one. The tour guide was good and gave me all the info I needed.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Expectations"
I didn't have a good time with them. First, they didn't screen my loved one properly. Then, they wanted to shift her out of independent living in just 35 days. It felt like they were just after money. While her living space is great, she isn't happy. She finds the residents nosy and dislikes the food.

"Lack of Communication from Administrators"
When I visit, the place is clean. Nurses communicate well, but administrators don’t.

"Declining Quality in Assisted Living Facility Over Past Three Years"
This place used to be better, but it's been going downhill for three years. I've been here six years, and things are getting worse. The food choices and activities have decreased since January 2018, even before COVID. There have been many changes in important staff roles because the company keeps demanding more and more, causing stress. The maintenance and cleaning staff are always short, so it takes forever to get anything fixed or cleaned. Sometimes it takes weeks or even months. The staff are nice and try their best, though.

"Upscale Assisted Living with Some Concerns"
Looks like the best place for food. The atmosphere feels like a fancy resort with beautiful grounds. There’s a villa available right across from the dining area, but we’re wondering if it’s suitable for him. He’d need to figure out how to get to the main building for activities (maybe an eyesight assessment?). Alternatively, we could wait for a Suncoast room to open up. On the downside, the complex might be too overwhelming or highbrow for his comfort. We’re waiting for a vacancy and not sure about pet exposure.” And here’s the summary headline:

"Clean facility, friendly staff, and residents seem well cared for."
This place was incredible, and our contact was outstanding. The facility was spotless! The staff we met were friendly and helpful, and the few residents we saw seemed happy and well cared for.

"Very Happy Place!"
My 86-year-old dad moved to this assisted living place about a month ago, and our experience has been great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The residents seem happy and healthy, and they are friendly too. There are lots of activities every day, and The Quak Center is a big plus for the residents. My dad really likes the food; it's much better than regular institutional food. We feel we've made an excellent choice and look forward to many happy years here.

"Ideal location with varied activities and popular Bingo."
They have lots of activities, but attendance varies. Bingo is popular.

"Winter Escape"
They have lots of activities, but it’s hard to find something well-attended because people have different needs. Bingo is still popular, mostly with white-haired ladies. The location is great for me since my friends live nearby. I’m escaping Florida summers and heading there this winter!
