"Addington Place of John's Creek: Excellent Community for Elder Care"
At Addington Place of John's Creek, everything is excellent. We would recommend this community to other families needing a place for their loved ones.

"New Management Needed"
I chose this place 'cause it's close and cheap. But, new boss soon, hope it's better. Hard to talk to old bosses.

"Assisted Living Facility Faces Management Changes Amid Staff Turnover"
One thing we're concerned about is they've switched management companies recently and had big staff changes, even in top roles. We've heard more might leave, so we hope our experience stays good. The activities director is fantastic. They organize a lot for such a small place. We've heard rumors they might leave too, but so far, they're still here, so we hope it stays that way!

"Unsatisfied with care at assisted living facility for Dementia sufferer"
I didn't notice any activities happening here. My family member has dementia and they weren't actually eating the meals provided. The cost seemed alright. However, my family member would go days without anyone caring for them. There's a new person in charge now, but the one before didn't handle things well. They need more people working in the unit for residents with memory problems. I had thought this place would be just right for my family member, but it ended up being all wrong.

"Affordable Facility with Spacious Rooms and Friendly People"
The saying “you get what you pay for” holds true here. The reason she chose this place was because the rooms were big. The food isn’t her favorite, but she’s found some really friendly folks among the other people living here and the staff.

"Caring and Helpful Assisted Living Facility"
My dad has been at Addington Place. They've been really helpful and kind to him and our family, especially during COVID. The staff is great. The executive director is very involved with the residents. He quickly and satisfactorily addresses any concerns I have. My dad is also in hospice care, and the facility works well with the hospice company to make sure he gets the right care.

"Inadequate Management and Privacy Issues at Assisted Living Facility"
This place leaves a lot to be desired. There are many negatives aspects that I can mention, but to put it bluntly, the management is subpar and seems to focus too heavily on profits rather than care. The current Executive Director, whose name has been removed, is less than ideal. Disturbingly, I witnessed private conversations about staff becoming public knowledge amongst everyone on the premises. This lack of privacy also seemingly extends to personal financial matters. The Wellness Nurse, another name removed, seems to lack compassion for the residents, often appearing unwilling to interact with them. She does not effectively lead her team, resulting in things not getting done. Distressingly, I heard a family express that their relative had not been bathed in over a month and that their room was in poor condition. This was the final straw for me and I haven't been back since. I had initially considered this place for my father, but after these experiences, my advice is to steer clear.

"Leadership, Privacy Concerns, and Inadequate Services at Assisted Living Facility"
Since the last boss stepped down, many workers and their families have packed up and left. It's too expensive and the new boss doesn't appear as involved as they should be. The meals, which used to be great, have dropped substantially in quality. My family member stays in the personal support section but, strangely, all the folks seem to know all the details, even private stuff. For instance, they knew a resident with memory troubles got lost and that the police were called. Somehow, he was 4 miles away. It's not cool for residents to know such personal info, due to HIPAA rules. They also knew the boss hadn't shown up. Loads of good workers have quit due to the lack of solid leadership locally and from the main office in Tampa. It's too costly for the services we're getting.

"Convenient and Caring Assisted Living for Evening Adult Day Care"
This place is great for my mom's day care twice a week. It's the only one that can take her in the evenings when I work. The memory care area isn't as nice as regular care, but the staff is amazing. They're really good with my mom and keep her busy. I'd suggest them if you need a break caring for a loved one.

"Family-friendly tour, found better fit elsewhere for father-in-law."
During our visit to this community, everyone was very kind to my family and me. We considered several factors for moving my father-in-law. While this is a nice place, we found another community that better suited our needs overall.
