"Assisted Living Review: Laundry and Housekeeping Improvements Needed"
Legacy Ridge at Buckhead could be better with laundry and housekeeping. I talked to the ED and know they're fixing it.

"Inconsistent Service at Legacy Ridge"
During our time at Legacy Ridge, we noticed that there are way too many agency staff members. Unfortunately, this leads to inconsistent quality service. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone.

"Avoid this Assisted Living Facility: False Advertising, Poor Care"
My family had a really bad experience with this assisted living facility, and I hope that no other family has to go through what we did. It is one of the toughest choices we had to make, and this place was nothing but a nightmare. We had problems with medication mistakes, too many staff changes, the food was bad, and there were hardly any activities like they promised. This place does not deserve its licence to operate. If I could, I'd give it zero stars. It's a false advertisement of what they say they offer and is not worth trusting with the care of your loved ones, particularly [name removed].

"Community Strengths with Room for Improvement"
It would be better if they took out [name removed]. The good things about this place are that the residents seem happy and the staff are very helpful.

"Great tour, but too small and busy for our needs."
I visited Legacy Ridge at Buckhead, and it was great. The tour guide was friendly and knew a lot. She followed up but wasn’t pushy, which was nice. Legacy Ridge is small and only offers assisted living. For my parents to stay together, they would need two apartments with a door cut between them. There aren’t full kitchens—just small kitchenettes—and my mom still cooks. The place was very clean. Everyone knew each other, and the staff knew the residents' names. However, it wasn’t the right fit for us. The space was too small, and it’s on a busy road.

"Mixed Experience at Legacy Ridge"
Legacy Ridge has some very good things, but also some things that didn’t meet our expectations. The people who helped us tour the place, along with the director, are truly wonderful and great to work with. They do everything they can to be extremely helpful. The care technicians and med techs are also very caring and wonderful people. However, where Legacy Ridge fell short is in their dementia care. My mom can physically do certain things, but she has dementia and needs help and prompting. In the mornings, they would just say, "Here’s your pills. Get showered and dressed and go down to breakfast." But she needs someone to help her through these steps. There are a lot of activities, which was one of the main reasons we wanted her there. One of her neighbors would sometimes ask if she wanted to play bingo, but the staff didn’t come by to remind her about activities. So, she didn’t get as involved as she could have. Overall, there were many good things, but also some things that didn’t work out as we had hoped.

"Peace of Mind for Mom in Safe, Engaging Community"
My mom feels safe and cared for in this community. Before, she lived with another family member who also needed help, but this place is much better for her. They have lots of fun activities like bingo, word games, movies, and gardening. They even go out sometimes, although not as often as I expected.

"Care level important; activities not used, but improving overall"
This place might not be right if your loved one needs a lot of care, especially if they are sick. Be careful; it may not be the best fit. They do offer many activities, but my loved one doesn’t join them. Things were tough at first, but they have improved and are getting better.

"Accommodating Community with Room for Staffing Improvement"
I would suggest this community to others. The workers could be better, but I think this is true everywhere. They have a nicer staff here than other places I've seen. They are willing to adjust for dietary needs in the community.

"Mixed Feelings About Alto Senior Living of Buckhead"
The place is usually very clean. The staff is generally friendly. The care has been okay, but things changed a lot for my mom in the past year. Alto Senior Living Of Buckhead is a bit pricey for what you get. Overall, we've been mostly satisfied.

"Amazing care, supportive staff, and great community feel!"
If I could give Alto Senior Living at Buckhead more than 5 stars, I would. I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to share how great the care my mother receives here is. Finding the right place for a loved one is tough. After looking at many assisted living options in Atlanta, a wonderful care consultant introduced me to Alto. Her help was life-changing and led us to exactly what my mother needed. From the first tour at Alto to now, the staff has been amazing. Whether it's the front office, nurses, kitchen, maintenance, or housekeeping, everyone genuinely cares about my mother’s well-being. The staff is professional and attentive. It’s reassuring to know my mother is safe and happy. If I ever need to request a change, I can easily contact the right person, and things get done quickly. I love that Alto isn’t one of the big centers. It feels like a "family community" where everyone knows each other. This creates a strong support system for each resident. The quality and number of activities are also better than at other places I looked at. My mother stays active and engaged with many activities. The staff at Alto has made her feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. After living in the same place for over 40 years in another state, moving was a big deal for her. If you’re looking for an assisted living community, save yourself time and stress—choose Alto Senior Living at Buckhead. It lets you focus on what really matters!
