"Highly Recommended Assisted Living with Great Staff and Services"
My family member lives at Legacy Ridge in Marietta and has had a really good experience so far. The staff is awesome! The cleaning is really good. The friendliness is nice. The food is okay - we like spicier food. I would for sure suggest this place to my family and friends.

"Needs More Caregivers, But Good Activities"
What we think they could improve on is checking on the residents more often. They should hire more caregivers because we hardly saw any during our 4 days there. However, we did like the activities director.

"Assisted Living: Bright, but Limited Activities"
The assisted living facility is bright and open. Some staff changes recently. I recommend it for loved ones, but the floors can get sticky.

"Great Experience, But High Staff Turnover and Limited Activities"
Overall, we’ve had a really good experience. My only worry is that the staff turnover seems high, which can be tough in memory care because changes can be hard for people with dementia. With new staff all the time, they might not know everything about each resident’s needs. It’s not impossible to handle, but they have to start over with new employees. Overall, they’re doing a good job. Most of the staff are good. My loved one seems happy with the food. But I would say activities are limited or not happening because of Covid.

"Negligent Care at Assisted Living Leads to Tragic Outcome"
I really thought this place would be good for my mom after she had a stroke in 2019, but boy, was I totally off base!! She only lasted 5 months there. Her caregivers, including [name removed], used to say she could walk and stuff like that, but she just couldn't after her stroke. It drove me nuts because I complained a lot and they didn't listen. They would grumble and put her down for needing help to go to the bathroom at night, and they even let her fall three times. After she fell the last time and cracked her head open, she never made it back from the hospital. I was already trying to move her from there, but sadly she died before I could move her. If you really care for your family and want them well taken care of, DON'T PICK ALTO!!

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
The assisted living place tries hard with some really nice people. They truly care, especially the director, [name removed], who puts in a lot of effort. I haven't been to other places, but overall they do a good job. The food is good, and sometimes it's like eating at a nice restaurant. They offer activities like Bingo and bus trips for lunch. There's an activities director, but they could improve on planning activities. I'm not sure what other places do for activities. They used to let my mom come out on the front porch, but now they won't allow it, even though she's already had COVID. One time, they didn't let us go on the porch when another couple was there, saying she needed to quarantine again for 14 days.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The place looked nice and the workers were friendly. They even had my name on a fancy board when I arrived. But they called me a lot when I couldn't talk, and when I tried to call back, I got a voicemail and they never called me back. Also, their parking lot is tiny.

"Cozy, caring assisted living with renovations, no kitchenettes, small units."
The place is quiet and cozy with enough staff. The new owners seem very capable and caring. They're remodeling now. There are 6 one-bedroom units, but no kitchenettes, so you'd need to get a fridge. The units are small.
