"Overbearing Boss Ruins Assisted Living Facility Experience"
This place was a bad experience. The lady in charge was super bossy and I had to complain about her. The worst thing about it? I wish I could give it zero stars, that's how terrible it was. If you're considering this place, know this: she's super strict. She only eats vegan, so don't expect a lot of options or variety when it comes to meals. And they're not cool with adjusting schedules if you want to bring your family out for the day. They kicked my mom out and only gave us four days to pack up and leave. They didn't have the decency to give us more time, like two weeks or a month, to find another place. We were only there for a short time before it happened, and it was so awful. And moreover, they dislike it if you have more than five medications, saying it's too much hassle.

"Bossy owner, false rules, and short visits ruin experience."
Our time here was really bad. The lady who owns the place is super bossy. It's like what she says goes and there's no room for anything else. She's tough to deal with and strict. She makes up stuff and tried to tell us it's the law, but I found out it's not. Plus, they give us too little time when we want to visit. When things didn't work out for my mom here, the owner told us we had to move her right away without any warning.

"Avoid this place: mean manager, poor treatment of residents."
I wish I could rate it lower. The lady who's in charge here is totally mean and not professional at all! She interrupts you and talks down to you. I tried to find out about my grandma's stay but she wouldn't tell me. She said my grandma had to leave today and then hung up on me. She runs the place as if it's a strict boot camp. It's really sad seeing how she treats the people living there. She shouts at them and wants everything done her way only. I can't believe anyone has ever said anything good about this place! If you really care about your family, DO NOT RELY ON THIS PLACE!

"Unprofessional, bossy woman, runs facility poorly, treated mom badly"
I wish I could rate this place with a zero. The woman in-charge operates it like it's a military unit but she's hardly ever around. Her husband is almost always there every day of the week and she makes some weird rules. She doesn’t even let you talk when having a conversation. It's like she doesn't want to hear anything you have to say. She is incredibly bossy, and you must do things her way or not at all. She’s not one to negotiate. My mom voices her opinions loudly too, and they didn't see eye to eye. In just a week, she told my mom to leave. She didn’t give us the normal 30 days to find another place. When I asked why she was so mad at my mom, she just hung the phone up on me. That's really bad manners and so unprofessional. I don’t know how she plans on running a business if she just hangs up on people. Unless your parent is very passive or severely ill, don't send them here.

"A Respite Gem for Mom"
The staff here is friendly, and my mom enjoyed her respite stay. The vegetarian meals were healthy, but we missed having a copy of the house rules. The cost felt high, especially since it's the same for roommates. Convenient location; recommended for respite stays.

"Wonderful Care and Beautiful Setting at Angels PCH"
My mom moved in eight weeks ago, and she looks so much better now her skin and hair have improved a lot. I wish I had found Angels when I first started looking for a place for her. The owner and the staff are really caring. The place is clean, has a vegetable garden, and beautiful flowers. It's a very nice place.

"A Caring Home with Happy Residents"
Angels Personal Care Home is a very nice place. The owner is friendly and informative about how the home operates, security procedures, and residents' needs. The garden on the premises contributes to food preparation, and the residents seem happy in their 'home.' I recommend it for loved ones.

"Just Like Home"
My father needed round-the-clock care, which we couldn’t provide in his home state of VA. Since my sister lived in Atlanta and senior care was more affordable there, she found a place that would be good for him. After visiting several options, she chose Angels Personal Care as the best fit. They have a garden with fresh vegetables, which is something he used to enjoy before having a stroke. He had been tending his own garden for about 70 years. Now, he’s even giving advice to the staff about the garden. He says the food is good, and he’s not talking about wanting to go home as much. Mrs. L understands his needs very well. Although my father isn’t interested in physical activities, the staff keeps encouraging him and working with him.
