"Avoid This Facility Despite Appealing Cost and Clean Impression"
Experienced many problems here - the staff often failed to provide medications even though they claimed they did. (They're not even registered nurses, just pay-by-the-hour types who don't take responsibility). My mother's room was invaded by poorly supervised residents who took her belongings. We've also had to deal with aggressive behavior from the other residents, toilets that leak, and so many other problems. Mom has accidentally fallen over four times and we've had to take her to the emergency room on all these occasions, all within less than a year. Even though the price may be appealing and it might look clean, I strongly suggest avoiding this facility at all costs. I'm more than happy to share even more dreadful details about our experience if you'd like.

"Misleading Care Assessment; Better for Independent Living"
This place is nice and friendly, but it wasn't right for my dad. They said they could handle his needs based on their evaluation, but it didn't match up. It seems like they promise more than they deliver. Assisted living wasn't the best choice for us; now we know. They might be good for independent living though. If you need more care, try somewhere else.

"Great care and friendly staff at a beautiful facility"
The experience here has been really positive. The staff are super friendly, and the care is excellent. The place itself is beautiful. With the pandemic going on, they’re a bit short on staff, but they still manage to keep everything running smoothly.

"Well-Managed Assisted Living with Family Feel"
This assisted living facility is family-owned, which helps them communicate well with families. They're also handling Covid protocols very well. The food is decent but not the greatest. We only had a problem with billing, but it was fixed quickly. It's worth the cost, and the place is clean and new.

"Still Capable, Seeks Independent Living Not Assistance"
I don't need help or memory care, I just want to live independently since I can still drive and handle my personal stuff.

"Owner's Helpfulness and New Facilities Impress at Independent Living Community"
We met the owner on our first visit; he was helpful and generous with his time, which impressed us. Our loved ones stay in new independent living apartments. The facility has been wonderful for them, and we would recommend it to others.

"Highly recommended for great care and a family-friendly environment"
We chose Ashton because they can offer the help my brother needs. We also really like the family that runs the place. They’re there every day, and it really makes a difference. They always go above and beyond for the people living there. It’s clear they know what they’re doing and have a great team. It’s reassuring to know our family member is in good hands. He enjoys being there too. The care is even better than we expected, and he likes the meals and activities they offer.

We moved mom in just 3 days after the Grand Opening. Since then, we’ve seen a huge change in her personality—she’s much happier and more social. We lost dad to dementia 4 years ago, and mom had been feeling down. The staff at Ashton Senior Living has done an amazing job with her. She enjoys the food, the activities, and the fact that she lived nearby for 58 years. The hospital, Northeast Georgia Medical Center, is very close, which is a big plus. I eat lunch with mom at least once a week because the food is fresh, healthy, and tastes great. The owners are super nice, always on-site, and have an open-door policy. My only complaint is that the father/son owners are UGA fans, and we are Auburn fans! We love it here and will recommend Ashton for many years.

"Lacking Care and Safety: Disappointing Assisted Living Tour Experience"
My visit to this place left me unimpressed. The person showing us around seemed more interested in talking about himself and his college football days than in helping us. When we arrived, there was nobody at the front desk to greet us, which made me feel unsafe for the residents. This community didn't seem suitable for my mother's needs.

"Dissatisfied with Unconcerned Staff and Lack of Security"
My visit to this facility didn't go well. The staff member who guided us through the place was uninterested in our concerns and seemed more focused on talking about his own experiences playing football in college. When we arrived, there was no one at the entrance to welcome us, which did not give me a secure feeling considering anyone could just walk in. Consequently, this community didn't feel like a good fit for my mom and her needs.

"More Caregivers Needed for Growing Resident Population"
I don't have any big issues, but I've seen that the rooms are getting more crowded and sometimes there aren’t enough caregivers. Some of the caregivers are better than others, but they all try hard to help my mom. The place is clean and well-kept. I had one meal there, and it was good. My mom really likes the food. Overall, things are going well for her.
