"Disastrous Experience at Assisted Living Home Leads to Warning"
Absolutely Do Not Trust This Facility With Your Loved Ones!" Why, you ask? Allow me to explain. Our dear father, who was struggling with dementia, was placed here per a friend's recommendation. We moved him from a nicer place in Stockbridge due to finance constraints and this place was more budget-friendly. Initially, the staff seemed kind and welcoming. And generally, they kept us updated on our father’s declining health, apart from one aid of Indian origin. She consistently displayed a disrespectful attitude towards patients and hurried them along, which clearly disconcerted our father. The tale gets grimmer! A few weeks later, the owner suddenly informed us that we needed to find an alternate place for our father due to his worsening condition, which came off as just a cheap excuse. We were shocked! Had we known they would turn their backs on him when he needed care the most, we would never have chosen this place. Hear this part, it is especially significant. A mid-week visit to our father (we typically visited on weekends) revealed horrifying bruises on his face - two black eyes and a badly injured nose. He was in no state to tell us what had happened and the aids conveniently stayed silent. No one thought it necessary to inform us. We really can't guess whether he was assaulted or he fell out of bed. The owner's blatant act of pretending ignorance made her complicity in this quite clear. She tried blaming it on the hospice, but the truth was they had not been there until after my husband arrived. Our dad had been in this condition for two days before we were informed! Following this, we ensured our dad's well-being by moving him to a wonderful place in Dunwoody, GA - Summers Landing Tilly Mill. Although we have dearly missed our dad since his demise last Tuesday [date removed], it was comforting to know that in his last days, he was in a place that genuinely cares for its residents. In conclusion: do not be misled by initial impressions. This assisted living facility is not supportive, especially for dementia patients. The uncaring attitude of the Indian aid and the dishonest owner were greatly upsetting. Consider this a warning, no elderly person deserves to be in a place like this and subject to such treatment.

"Decent Place, But Not Suitable For Aunt"
I visited this place for a tour and generally, everything was pretty good. The place looked good from what I checked out, but it just wasn't the ideal place for my Aunt.

"Affordable lodging with home meals and personal care facilities"
The place serves meals made at home. The cost for a studio is 2100. One-bedroom units cost between 2500-2650. They also have personal care homes.

"Residents Happy in Assisted Living Community!"
This place was really nice. It felt like a hotel. The room they showed us was big and near the TV room. There’s a spacious backyard. The people living there seemed happy. The whole community was clean, but it’s more for assisted living. We liked it, but we wanted a private room, which they didn’t have.

"Outstanding Administration and Support!!"
The administration team was amazing! They were always available by phone or email and gave my loved one and me a detailed tour of the beautiful community. They were very professional and often checked in with me to make sure my mother is doing well.

"Very nice smaller community!"
We’re really happy with Azalea House! It’s clean and looks nice, and everyone here is friendly. It’s a smaller community with about 14 residents, and Mom has adjusted really well! I highly recommend it to anyone needing care in the area!

"A Cozy, Affordable Assisted Living with Excellent Care"
This place is really special. In mid-2015, a new owner took over, who is also the Director. She made many improvements, like fresh paint, new carpet, and hardwood floors. It’s a smaller facility with a homelike feeling. The rooms are spacious, the staff are friendly, caring, and attentive to the residents' needs. Plus, it costs less than the bigger corporate places. I was really pleased to have my dad living and being cared for here.

"Review: Small, well-tended care home with insightful director"
Small care home with 25 residents in a great neighborhood, but it's a long drive for me because of heavy traffic. It's difficult to visit more than once per week. The director, is really wise about dementia. The residents are clean and treated well. This community also offers temporary care and their prices, which includes everything, are reasonably priced.

"Excellent value, personalized care, no complaints. Highly recommend"
This place is great. It costs the right amount and isn't too big or too small. They take good care of my grandma and give her special attention. Right now, I can't think of anything they need to change or do better. It's all good.

"Not Really a Welcoming Environment"
Quite run-down. The furniture is ripped, and the carpets are dirty. The place doesn't give off a pleasant vibe.

"Decided Against This Facility; Seeking More Space, Activities"
At this point, we're not choosing this center. The workers were nice. We're searching for a bigger place with more things to do.

"Assisted Living: Pleasant Surroundings, Helpful Staff"
This place is really nice. It's shady and pretty. It doesn't smell bad. The staff, two ladies, were super helpful even though we didn't call ahead.
