"Assisted Living Disappointment: Overmedication and Extra Expenses Caused Concerns"
My mom was supposed to be safe and cared for in the assisted living facility. They said they could handle her advanced dementia and keep her safe. But after just a few weeks, she seemed too sleepy and almost fell out of her chair a few times. One staff member even said she was too busy and not sleeping, which worried us. Then, after less than two months, they said she needed more care for extra money. We had to pay more and move her somewhere else because they couldn't provide what they promised. They won't even give us back the facility fee, even though they got her needs wrong from the start. It's been a big, expensive hassle. Overall, most of the staff was nice, but one person made things difficult for my mom.

"High Prices and Mixed Staffing at Assisted Living Facility"
I think I'm being charged too much for where I live now. This building is old and the costs are just too high. We might have to move because of it. One good thing about this place is the long-term staff who really make a difference. They know how great it could be here. But I'm not happy with the new employees. Also, not many people live here, which I don't like.

"Assisted Living Review: Caring Atmosphere, Spacious Rooms, Enjoyable Food"
I would tell my friends that it's a very caring and friendly place. It feels safe given the circumstances. The room is clean and larger than others we looked at. Our loved one really likes the food.

"Assisted Living Delivers Great Care with Minor Food Issue"
The community's lawns were always well-kept, and recent remodeling made the inside look fresh. All the staff were friendly and knew my mom's name. From kitchen staff to community managers, everyone made sure my mom felt welcome. The activities provided were wonderful. However, my mom did not like the food at all.

"Great place, just a bit pricey"
Very nice place, though a bit more expensive than we hoped. The people were friendly, and the room was definitely big enough.

We visited Bellmont Village and other places about a year before my mom needed to move in, just to get a feel for options in our area. From the first visit, there was zero pressure—every question was answered kindly, and Bellmont’s follow-up calls were courteous, not pushy. There were two times I thought my mom was ready, but she changed her mind, and each time, Bellmont was supportive, saying they'd be there when she was ready. When she finally decided, they took us on a third tour, as welcoming as the first. The move-in process was smooth and eased all my worries. Once my mom moved in, the staff was incredibly helpful, always offering a hand and making her feel welcome. They even went out of their way to set her up with friendly faces at meals and social events. Every staff member showed kindness, friendship, and care. This is my third time moving a loved one to assisted or independent living, and I truly wish I'd known about Bellmont for the first two. My mom’s mood, appetite, and activity have all improved—she feels respected and excited for her new chapter at Bellmont Village!

"Belmont Village Feels Like Home!"
My mother-in-law moved into Belmont Independent Living and after six months, I want to share my thoughts. She really loves it there, and so do we! Every time I walk in the front door, I feel welcomed and part of the Belmont family. My husband and I have been there many times for holidays and family events, and I must say, they do a fantastic job! Everything is top-notch. The décor is traditional and transitional, which suits the residents well. It’s very clean, and everything is on one level, which I think is great. The hallways are wide and open, making the whole place feel cozy and airy. The food is really amazing. They have plenty of activities, and their healthcare workers, called PALS, check in on the residents and encourage them to join in. This is a huge plus in my opinion. They also have full-time nurses for those who need extra help. We aren't there yet, but if we do need it, she can stay in her apartment and transition to assisted living. Later, if needed, they have memory care available. We are very happy with our choice. My compliments to the management and staff! If you’re looking for a place, I highly recommend visiting Belmont Village at John's Creek.

"Smaller but Very Nice"
Belmont is a small community in the Johns Creek area. It’s super close to hospitals and doctors. The staff is excellent—really friendly and they go out of their way to make my parents’ stay enjoyable. Even though it’s smaller than some of the newer places, it’s well maintained and efficiently run. If you’re checking out these types of communities, definitely consider Belmont.

"A Good Choice for Senior Living"
Belmont Village Johns Creek is a nice place for your loved one to live. The people who help them are great. We think that the way some employees communicate with family members needs to be better. The receptionists are fantastic. They're always helpful and smiling. If you need something, just ask them, and they'll make sure to help you out. The residents always seem happy and smiling. Their dining room is big, and the food is tasty. My father-in-law really liked the dining room and food. We heard they have gardening for the residents, and my father-in-law was excited about it. But unfortunately, they don't let the residents take care of the plants after they're planted. We were disappointed about that. He doesn't like playing games, but gardening was something he could have enjoyed. So far, my father-in-law is happy, and that's what matters most. We think he's getting the care he needs. Overall, we would suggest Belmont Village.

"Friendly Assisted Living, Pricey but Not for Us"
This place felt like home with lots of activities and a friendly staff. However, it was quite pricey. They hesitated to accept my combative father as a resident, so we crossed it off our list.

" Welcoming Environment with Excellent Amenities and Staff at Assisted Living "
This place is really nice. The decorations are pretty. I like that it's not too big and everything's on one floor. They have both assisted and independent living, which has good and bad sides. But I appreciate that there's always a nurse available, and you can get more than one meal if you want. The memory care area is huge! I think it's great that there's enough space for people with dementia to walk around if they can. They also have nice extra stuff, and the staff is friendly. I visited on a Sunday, which usually means fewer staff, but there were still a nurse, some PALs, the Executive Director, and a maintenance supervisor around. The floor plans are good, with several options to choose from. I felt safe there too.

"Really, Really Good"
They really were really, really good. You call everyone "pals," and it's very personal—they say you look nice and ask how you're doing today. There's a mix of independent and assisted living, but personal care costs more here than at a fully assisted living place. I liked the layout better. The food was also really good.

This place is amazing! There’s a piano player in the lobby who always plays soft music, making it feel light-hearted. The dining room is open and airy, with no walls separating the space. The food is truly incredible—like a 5-star restaurant! They decorate the plates beautifully and use fresh ingredients. The chef is fantastic! They serve homemade soups, and everything is baked on-site. If you don’t want the special of the day, you can choose from a menu with steaks, salmon, and more! The staff is super friendly and well-trained. They respond quickly and know what the residents need. Their PALS program is outstanding! They invite everyone to activities and events, ensuring everyone feels included. This place really feels like family!

"We loved Belmont Village; great layout, menu, and activities!"
We loved Belmont Village! The single-floor layout was convenient, and we appreciated that the dining room and activity spaces were all nearby. The menu had great choices, and the two-hour window for meals gave us flexibility. The only downside was that rent and care costs were higher than what we’re paying at Delmar Village of Gwinnett.

Son in law
"Clean and friendly, but care falls short of expectations."
The care here is a bit of a problem. I guess our expectations are too high for an assisted living place. For instance, my mother-in-law burned herself while using the microwave, and they had to call my wife to get something from the drug store. Shouldn't they have first aid on hand? There are a few activities, but my mother-in-law struggles because she also has to look after her husband with dementia. It's tough. They used to have other exits besides the front door, where residents could sit on the patio. But after an inspection, they locked those doors. Now it feels like they're in a prison.

"Expensive but Clean and Responsive"
Belmont Village is great. They keep it clean. They take care of folks a lot, but it costs a bunch. I like how they handle Alzheimer's and dementia well. If there's a problem, they're good at fixing it. They're open to talking and solving issues.
