"Avoid Memory Care Unit: Unprofessional Management, Stay Away"
Don't go here. It's not good. The people who run it aren't very professional, and they don't manage things well. I wouldn't tell anyone to come here, especially not for the Memory Care unit.

"Caring Staff and Overall Recommendation"
At Benton House of Augusta, the staff stands out the most. They genuinely listen to family concerns, and we're very pleased with their care for our loved one. They even share pictures of participating in activities. However, more movement during the day program would be beneficial. Overall, I recommend Benton House to others."

"Varied activities, staffing issues; recommended for family-oriented care."
At Benton House, weekends can be short-staffed, causing delays in meds. They offer trips to Eudora Farms, Atlanta aquarium, and various activities like bingo and happy hour. With frequent celebrations, we recommend this community for families.

"Caring Community with Great Amenities for Loved Ones"
This place has been perfect for us and our loved one. It's truly been a blessing. The staff listens to us and addresses any concerns we have. They're also really good at answering our questions. The day program offers activities for the residents. They even have a hair salon for my loved one to use. The check-in and check-out process is excellent.

"Benton House Lacks Professionalism and Accommodations for Veterans"
I was searching for temporary care for my aged parent and Benton House in Augusta showed up. It looks impressive from the exterior. They told me they not only offer temporary care but suggested looking into their adult daycare too. I informed them about the specific needs of the senior, and they assured me that it wouldn't be an issue. However, on our first visit there, as I helped the senior out of the car, no one offered assistance or suggested an easier way to get inside the facility, even though they surely saw me struggling. Fast forward to two days later, they told me they couldn't accommodate the senior because his needs were too high. This, even after I had fully disclosed over the phone about his condition. Due to the unprofessional behaviour and lackadaisical attitude from one of the staff members, I'd advise any army veteran with any degree of limitations to reconsider before choosing Benton House for their care.

"Nice community, but strict rules and high cost"
Of all the places we visited, we liked this one the best. However, some things worried us. They have a strict fire code that says if you can't move around on your own, you can't stay. This would be a problem for my mom later on. The prices were higher than other places we saw, and the rooms were smaller. But the staff was very nice and friendly, and the place was clean and nice to look at.

"Liked it, but chose another place due to location"
I checked out this place when looking at different options. I liked it and thought it would be a good fit. This was one of our top two choices. We ended up picking the other one because of the location.
