"Warm Care and Good Meals"
I’d suggest Brickmont Woodstock. The caregivers genuinely connect with residents. Daily activities might not suit everyone, but my mom gets three hearty meals. Friendly atmosphere during my visits.

"Mom Feels Safe and Happy at Brickmont Assisted Living"
My mom really likes living at Brickmont. She told me last night that she feels like it's her home and that she feels safe and well taken care of. The main thing we wish for is better food quality and more of it, but overall, she's happy to be there. The cost was the main reason we chose Brickmont. Although it's still expensive, it was less than most of the other places we looked at.

"Medication Management Concerns"
We like Brickmont and most of its staff. The place is clean, activities are fun, and the rooms are big and nice. But there’s a problem with giving medicine. Sometimes they forget, and that’s not good. We hope they fix it.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
The staff is awesome, but management and the owner are difficult. The food portions are tiny, and I wouldn't recommend it.

"Poor Management and Communication at Assisted Living Facility"
I definitely wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. Just a few months ago, we settled in. Since then, there's been a new Director and a new head nurse. Plus, the food quality score dropped to 73 last month! The worst part? They told no one. Families here have absolutely no way of being kept in the loop.

"Brickmont Offers Inclusive Assisted Living"
Brickmont of Woodstock is a nice place. The two-bedroom unit is bigger than others, with full-size refrigerators. It feels like a hotel or a little condo. The best part? They charge the same price for all levels of care, even in memory care. It’s inclusive and affordable.

"Poor Management and Unanswered Emails Lead to Decline"
The assisted living facility is clean and nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the management and owner should be ashamed. They don't have answers to any questions, and you're always directed to an email that goes unanswered. The rent is being raised by an insane amount, and the residents aren't getting nutritious meals. It has gone from great to horrible in the last few months.

"Communication with family lacking; facility cleanliness and upkeep inconsistent."
I think one thing that needs fixing is how they talk to families. My mom has trouble remembering things because of her dementia. I've asked for updates on how she's doing from the people at the place, but nobody calls me back. I live nearby, so I visit often to check on her. But it would really help if they could give me updates regularly. The place seems pretty clean overall, but some parts have stained carpets in the shared areas. I wonder if cleaning them would make them look better or if it's time to get new carpets.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
The place looks nice, but they don't take good care of people. We chose it based on your suggestion.

"Unprofessional Caretaker at Assisted Living Facility"
We chose this place because it was clean, new, and affordable. However, the caretaker was unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend it unless your loved one is very independent.

"Care lacking, dining atmosphere poor despite excellent food quality."
The food was great, but the dining room was not. The person who sells the place is great. The place looks very clean. The food is great. The boss cares more about how the place looks than about the people living there. The care feels like being in a tough boot camp, and the residents get yelled at every day because they can't do things themselves. Sometimes, people have to wait for more than 2 hours for someone to come when they press the help button. They told my mom that she's on a list of people they won't help. After meals, my mom had to wait for more than an hour for someone to clean up before they could help her go back to her room. She was very unhappy and has moved out.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
They've been good overall, but sometimes it's hard to reach someone or get a call back. The staff is very nice, but they could be more attentive to caring for elderly people. My loved one enjoys the food. They should work on communication and maybe hire more staff. The caregivers have been great. Overall, it's been a positive experience.
