I almost gave it 5 stars, but the office isn't very responsive. The place is clean and the staff are super nice. The care is good, and the food is tasty. The activities are kind of boring though. It's worth the money, and they let you bring pets!

Magnolia Place of Roswell is changing now. Many new staff. The activities director is GREAT. She did a fun Christmas event. The rehab is pretty good. It costs more than we want. There are good and bad points overall. We hope there are improvements with the changes.

"Memory Care Facility Tour Review: Staff Excellent, Location a Concern"
Magnolia Place of Roswell's memory care unit was being built during our visit, so it was hard to see how it would look. However, we really liked the staff, especially the tour guide who was great. This was our second choice among many places we visited, but it's a bit too far for our family.

"Inconsistent Care and High Prices: Not Recommended for Seniors"
This place isn't very good. The workers don't do things well and sometimes they're not there when you need them. They don't listen to what people say about how they can make things better, and the nurses aren't easy to find and sometimes they get things wrong. They're not really looking out for the people who live there. Also, it costs more than other places nearby. I wouldn't tell anyone to go here unless they make big changes.

We picked this place for its location and flexible care. My brother's apartment is decently sized compared to others I've seen. What I like best is knowing he's getting good care. I'd suggest Magnolia Place of Roswell.

"Decrease in Services and Cleanliness at Assisted Living Facility"
At first, we really liked this place about two years ago. However, lately, we've been really upset with getting calls every Friday night about needing more medicine. We also found out that we were being charged for stuff that wasn't included in her care package, and the cleanliness is a big issue too. Over the last few months, the place has started to smell bad, and it's gotten so bad that I can hardly stand walking down the upstairs hallways.

Brookdale Big Creek Roswell was a nice place. The boss knew a lot and answered my questions. The tour was fun. Mom and Dad picked a place nearer to home.

I really liked how things went when my loved one and I visited this place. The staff were punctual for our appointment and patiently answered all our questions. The layout of the place was open, and there were many cool things for everyone living there. But, in the end, we decided it wasn't exactly what we were looking for.

"Top-Notch Care and Comfort!"
This place is awesome! It’s super nice and the staff are amazing! The social director is really energetic, and the caregivers always make sure to meet my mom’s needs and requests. The food is also delicious, with restaurant-style options and a different menu every day. I’m very happy with my mom’s stay at this Brookdale location.

My husband has found the perfect place to fit his needs. Despite his medical and physical challenges, this community is just right for him. We are extremely happy and thankful for the friendly and helpful staff.

"Decent memory care unit, helpful staff, but opted for Tennessee."
This place has a good memory care unit for folks with serious memory issues. The workers were helpful and answered all our questions. They even have a manager just for the memory care unit. We're keeping their information, but we've chosen to go with a facility in Tennessee instead.

"Unexpectedly thrilled with Brookdale Big Creek’s care and service"
My mother-in-law broke her ankle and needed full-time care just five days before our vacation. I found Brookdale Big Creek and couldn’t be happier! After calling around all day, they were the most helpful and responsive. They rearranged things to fit her double bed, helped us with all the paperwork, and got her settled just in time for our trip. We decided to stay for three months because of a special offer and planned to look at other places. But we’re so happy here that she’s staying for good. The facility is clean and doesn’t have that hospital smell. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. There are plenty of activities to keep her busy, and having her own room lets her stay independent. She especially loves the wait staff in the café it feels like dining at a restaurant all the time, which she really enjoys.

"Memory Care Felt Claustrophobic, Facility Otherwise Fairly Clean"
This place, once Merrill Gardens, wasn't for me. The memory care was cramped, feeling like a hospital. It was tidy, except for one apartment stinking of dog pee, not the lady's fault. I voiced my concern. Despite that, the rest of the place stayed fairly clean.

This place was pretty cool, and the place for memory care was excellent. But, I'm not totally sure it fits my folks' needs right now. Plus, there weren't any full kitchens, which is a big deal to my mom since she has a very specific diet (and she's super particular about her food).
