"Good Location, Staff Training Falls Short"
The place is in a nice spot. But the workers really need more training. They don’t know enough about the medicines they hand out. We got told some stuff that turned out to be wrong. They told us once people come here, they stay put. But actually, a couple of folks left pretty quick because they had problems with the workers. And it seems like no one makes sure the workers do their jobs right.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Better Management"
This place has some good people who struggle to do their jobs properly. The water available is bottled, but they often run out toward the end of the month. Unfortunately, there are no sinks in the rooms, only bathroom lavatories for drinking water. The location is great, but it needs a manager who is present and actively manages the staff. Residents often talk about the lack of management here.

"Good but needs improvements in care, meals, and activities"
I gave a 3 for quality of care because it depends on who is working. I gave a 4 on meals because they serve them later and later. I gave a 3 on activities because there is very little in memory care, but assisted living has a lot more. I gave a 3 on value for the cost because if they could fix the other issues, this would be a 5. Still, it’s 10 times better.

"Mixed Impressions on Wickshire Canton Assisted Living"
We visited Wickshire Canton and had a nice tour. The place was reasonably priced and the staff were friendly. However, the building seemed older and not as clean as some other places we looked at.

"Budget-friendly choice, but only for price-conscious seniors."
I would only choose them because they cost less. We chose this place because it's cheaper. I'd suggest this spot to others, but only if cost is their main concern.

"Wickshire Miscommunicates, Overcharges and Fails to Deliver Promised Services"
We had a really poor experience with Wickshire. There was a lot of miscommunication. They said they sent the medical paperwork to the doctor's office in early January but near the end of January, I had to call and check on it. It turned out, that was the first time that the doctor's office received any paperwork from them. They've tried billing us for all of January, February, and March, even though she only lived there for one day before passing away. We were also told she'd be in a shared room, but when we arrived to move her in, the room was being used privately. We had to wait for Wickshire to sort this out. We even had an email stating the exact move-in date from one of their directors; however, he informed the office it was going to be the next day which was wrong. Also, no one spoke to us at all during the move-in process. We're really unhappy and just received a bill from Wickshire for a lot of money.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
My family member moved in and soon a water pipe broke. There was no water or working toilets. The staff used bottled water for drinking and care. They fixed it fast but still improve the repairs. Mostly, the food has been good. My family member likes it. The menu and food delivery could be faster.

"Cozy and Clean Memory Care, Some Staff Excelling, Activities Lacking"
I really liked how Memory Care was set up with two cozy living room and dining areas; it felt more like a home. The hardwood floors throughout made everything feel clean and fresh. Most of the staff were wonderful they were caring and friendly. There were very few who were not. However, I noticed that Memory Care didn't seem to offer many activities besides watching TV or sitting on the patio. Also, the kitchen didn't seem very intuitive when it came to preparing mechanical soft diets.

"Mixed Feelings About Wickshire Canton Staff"
We appreciate some of the staff at Wickshire Canton, especially the caregivers. While some CNAs are compassionate and attentive, others seem motivated solely by their paycheck.

"Long Waits for Food, Inadequate Staffing: Wickshire Assisted Living Review"
My relative stays at Wickshire. They don't have enough kitchen staff. Sometimes, residents wait for food for over an hour! This is unacceptable! Once, my relative was told they ran out of lunch food and had to have cereal.
