"Management prioritizes money over residents' well-being. Staff is average."

The staff that works there is fine. But the bosses are bad. Don't go there. They only care about money, not the people.

"Great Choice for Families, Near Home"

Brookdale Lawrenceville is super close to where I live, which I think is awesome about this place. From what I’ve seen up to now, I’d tell other families to check it out too.

"Positive feedback on assisted living facility staff and atmosphere."

Our experience has been great overall. We picked this place because of staff availability and their positive attitude. I would suggest it to others.

"Smaller, Personal Assisted Living with Caring Staff and Improving Activities"

Brookdale is a good choice. It's smaller and more personal. The caregivers truly care. They've had fewer activities since their director left before I moved Mom in, but they're trying to improve. I chose this community for the staff-to-patient ratio and cost.

"Not homey enough."

We visited Brookdale Lawrenceville, but it didn't feel like home.

"Small, family-like facility with caring staff and good amenities"

This place works well for us right now. It's not perfect for my loved one, partly due to her own actions, but it's okay. The staff is generally good, although like anywhere, some are better than others. The executive director is wonderful; she truly cares about residents and families and tries her best to meet their needs. Housekeeping is frequent and does a good job, they make her bed daily. What stands out here is its cozy, family-like atmosphere. One suggestion I have is to separate male and female residents; being a small place, it sometimes causes issues. I also wish they had a secure outdoor area so residents can go outside whenever they want, not just when supervision is available. Overall, I'd recommend this place to friends and family.

"Nice Place, Feels Like a Nursing Home"

The community is nice, but it reminds me of a nursing home. On the first floor, there are rooms for people with memory issues.

"Assisted Living Review: Improving Activities, Dining Could Offer More Choices"

It's getting better here. Changes in management caused some problems. We didn't have an activities director until recently, but now things are starting up again. Breakfast is nice, but dinner often consists of soup and sandwiches. Our loved ones are fine with it, though I wish they had more meal choices.

"Hidden Away in Office Complex: Assisted Living Review"

I didn't like how we had to leave the main road and drive through an office complex to reach the facility. It felt like we were hiding Mom away from the rest of the world.

"Unhappy Customer Reviews Poor Care at Brookdale Assisted Living"

I'm about ready to hire a lawyer. My mom had a nasty fall during her stay at Brookdale, ended up breaking her thigh bone, and now she's dealing with hip issues. Despite being in an area where she was supposed to be supervised 24/7, the staff let this accident happen. The food at Brookdale is the only bright spot. My mom genuinely liked it, and we often had enjoyable lunches with her there. But the staff? They're downright mean, and they don't bother hiding it either, even when we're right there. Even considering the price tag of $1000 per month doesn't justify the service at Brookdale.

"Room Concerns in Assisted Living"

This place could work, but the room is on the second floor and has a connecting door. They haven't given any pricing details.

"Great staff and nice facility, highly recommend!"

This place is really nice, and the staff is amazing. My mom looked at this facility and another one, and while she thought the other one fit her better, she had only good things to say about the people and the building here. The staff were really kind and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

"Small size, lack of social activities disappointing for grandma."

The place was cozy but not quite what we hoped for. It didn't seem like there were many social activities for the people living there. I want my grandma to be part of a place where everyone likes each other.

"Mixed Feelings: Grandparent Tour"

I visited this place for my grandparents and checked things out. The tour was okay. Everything looked tidy and clean, and the community seemed nice. It was fine, but I didn't think it was the best choice for my grandparents.

"My visit"

During our visit, we liked the community. The staff were friendly, and the place was clean. However, the room was a bit smaller than expected.

"Budget-friendly Brookdale could be perfect for my loved one."

I had a great tour of Brookdale. It's cheaper than others. It could be best for my loved one.

"Mixed Feelings: Staff and Facility Could Use Some TLC"

I visited this place for my brother, but I wasn't thrilled. The facility is pretty outdated, and it didn't fit what we needed. We felt ignored by the staff, which didn't feel right. Other families might want to check it out, but we wouldn't suggest this place unless they step up their game and become more supportive. The living spaces were really tiny. I encourage other families who need care for their loved ones to look at this place.

"Good Assisted Living with 4 Stars"

The place was nice, with around 50 residents, nurses, and caregivers. Lots of common areas, and the rooms were good. The elevator worked well. Overall, a good spot—I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars.

"Brookdale Lawrenceville: Friendly Staff and Great Food!"

The staff here is super friendly and always ready to help. Plus, the food is way better than what we had at our last place!

"5 Stars for Brookdale Lawrenceville!"

My mom spent about a month at Brookdale Lawrenceville before moving out of state, but we loved it so much we wish she could've stayed! The staff are super friendly and really care about the residents. The community is always clean and looks great. The food is delicious too! I highly recommend Brookdale.

"Slightly Understaffed Facility"

I believe the place might be a bit short-staffed. The staff they have is great, but memory care needs more people. Personal attention is less than expected. The inside is nice, but the grounds need improvement.

"Disappointing Stay at Seemingly Ideal Facility"

Our time at Brookdale Lawrenceville has been okay but disappointing. I checked out a lot of communities nearby, and Brookdale seemed like one of the top ones based on how it looks, how the staff acts, and the services it provides. Sadly, our relative fell shortly after moving there, which was exactly what we didn't want to happen. We're still trying to figure things out with them because it does seem like a good place, but if you have family members who might fall, you might want to know about our experience.

"Caring and helpful assisted living with new director. Mom's happy."

Brookdale Lawrenceville is awesome! They got a new boss who's super nice and listens to us. My mom's been there for a month, and they've been really good at helping her adjust and with her medicine stuff.

"Top-Notch Staff and Service at Brookdale Lawrenceville"

We've had a really good time at Brookdale Lawrenceville! The people here go the extra mile, especially Charlotte who helped us a lot. Even though the building is a bit old, the staff make it great. They seem to love their job, and some have worked here for over 10 years! They're super good with my mom, always understanding her feelings while still doing everything they need to. I can't say enough good things about them!

"Wonderful help and quick placement for my mother-in-law"

The folks at the facility were super helpful in getting my mother-in-law settled in and relaxed once she knew she'd be staying there. By the time my husband wrapped up the paperwork, they had her walking around and enjoying the place. She's been doing well and has accepted this as her new home for now. She's still confused about what's real and what's her imagination, but the staff has made her feel at home. The people at A Place for Mom were awesome and helped us find her a spot quickly that was right for her and for us. It's made the whole process pleasant for everyone involved.

"Nice facility, but institutional vibe."

We visited this place while exploring care options for a family member. Everything appeared fine—the facility was clean, staff friendly, and helpful. However, it lacked warmth and felt institutional. Not the right fit for our loved one.

"Working Well"

They bring in different groups and try to keep residents happy. It'd be nice to have more menu variety, but it's super convenient for me to visit my mom. The staff turnover is low, which matters a lot.

"Nice, spacious rooms!"

I was really happy with them; they just didn’t have anything available at the time. It was the right kind of place for her. It was older and had bigger rooms where she could fit all her furniture.

"A great upgrade; aunt is happy and well cared for!"

My aunt seems very happy here! The place is clean and sounds nice overall. I’m pleased with the billing—they only increased a bit due to using more supplies than expected, which I knew might happen. They’ve done everything we’ve asked, and it’s a big step up from where she was before. I know she gets to go out shopping, to dinner, and more. Since she’s in assisted living, I’m not sure of her exact daily activities, but I do know she enjoys going out.

"Exceptional, Caring Staff"

He was only there for 9 days, but they were the only ones who talked to me about dealing with his wound vac. They handled it really well. The employees are exceptional. The lady at the front desk spent 3 hours helping me set up his room. They had appointments for Thursdays, but two staff members got together to take him on a different day. He always had a cat, and they let him bring it. When my dad died, one of the employees took the cat with them so I didn’t have to deal with anything. The nurse called me every day with updates, and when he went to the hospital, she visited twice a day. They even brought us big buckets of snacks. They were the least expensive and had different levels of care. I would recommend them to anyone!

"Facility Lacks Necessary Space"

This place just isn't big enough.

"Left Before Tour, Shockingly Poor Security, Do Not Recommend"

Took off before the tour even started, it wasn't worth my time or theirs. They had no security, no employees around, and the door was just left ajar with a box in front. There was not a soul at the front desk. Memory-care residents could’ve easily just wandered off. I HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST THIS PLACE!

"I really liked this place. It's worth considering."

I really liked this place. It was small, which I liked because I thought she wouldn’t get lost in the shuffle. This is definitely one to think about.

"Courtyard Gardens"

Courtyard Gardens is a nice place. It looks a bit old. The Director was friendly, but I was surprised she didn't offer to show me the memory care unit when I asked. She mentioned it only has female residents, but that's okay.

"Caring staff knows residents personally."

Smaller, the lady who showed us around seemed genuinely concerned about keeping residents active. She knew them by name.

"Very clean facility with caring staff and great activities."

The facility looked very clean. The staff was professional and cared for my needs. The rooms were nice, and the programs and activities for residents were great. The dining room was clean and felt like a restaurant. I was very happy with the tour, the staff, and the facility. The level of care and supervision was impressive.
