"Cozy Assisted Living with Attentive Staff and Happy Residents"
This place was smaller, which made me think they'd take better care of my loved one. The respite room was all to herself. The staff really tried to meet her needs. They even let us pay with a credit card. I noticed the people who've been here a while seemed content and tidy. I'd suggest it if you can stay very involved.

"Convenient Location and Caring Staff"
Legacy Ridge was my mom's top pick because it's close to our family. The staff know a lot about caring for people. My loved one has had more health problems, and they are good at keeping us informed. They suggested hospice, which has really helped my mom and given our family peace of mind. I think others should consider Legacy too.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Experience"
I have some concerns about the assisted living facility. Firstly, the front door doesn’t work right, which is frustrating. Also, they raised the rent after my mom had only been there for 3 months, which seems unfair. On the positive side, the staff is really friendly. They always greet us warmly and are helpful when needed. The facility itself looks very modern, which is nice and makes it feel welcoming.

"Legacy Ridge breaks promises and doesn't refund money"
Our experience with Legacy Ridge was horrible. They broke their promises to us. When we were about to move our family member in, they suddenly informed us that she couldn't stay there anymore. This happened even though we'd already signed all the necessary documents and chose a room for her. What's worse, we didn't receive any refund after paying the move-in fees and the first month's rent. The staff was far from helpful.

"Memory Care Needs Not Met at Nice Assisted Living Facility"
We visited this place and it was nice. The tour was great, but they didn't have the memory care our loved ones require, so it wasn't right for us.

"Great Staff, Nice Rooms, Food Portion Size Lacking"
When we first checked out Legacy Ridge, the person in charge was super nice and really helped us out. Even though she's not there anymore, we still think the people running the place are awesome. The rooms are a good size, but our family member isn't happy with the meals. He says he doesn't get enough to eat sometimes and wishes they'd give him more.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
The staff is really nice and caring to the people. The food is good. But it’s expensive considering they don’t provide medicine and cleaning. I was a bit let down by the cleanliness of the place where people live.

"Understaffed and repetitive menu overshadow facility's beauty and staff."
The place looks nice, but there aren't enough workers, and they mostly serve sandwiches. My mom's been griping about the food since she got here. She either doesn't like what's on the menu or there isn't enough of it. When she asks for more, they say they're out. I really like the place and the folks I've interacted with. But, there are definitely some issues.

"Great Staff, Limited Food at Assisted Living Facility"
The place looks great, but they need more staff, and the food is almost always sandwiches. My mom has had issues with the food since she got here. It's not just what's on the menu, but how much they give her. If she asks for more, they say they're all out. Despite all this, I like the place and the folks I've been dealing with. But it has its drawbacks.

"Large variety of activities!"
The Brookdale Sweetwater Creek has been great for my dad. I can easily talk to them, and they keep the place very clean. The lady who runs the memory care unit is friendly and relaxed. They offer a mix of activities like singing, arts, and crafts, which my dad enjoys.

"Unwelcoming and Dirty: Assisted Living Facility Needs Attention"
I was really let down. It proved what I was scared about. Some parts were unclean and old that really just needed proper cleaning or fresh paint.

"Nice staff at Brookdale, but they need more hands."
We've had some ups and downs with Brookdale Sweetwater Creek. The folks here are nice and put a lot of effort into their work, but I feel they could use more staff members. They fulfill the Georgia state demands for staffing, but everyone looks run down.

"Not Enough Staff for Proper Residents' Care"
If a person who is restricted to bed needs help, they don't change the underclothes regularly. There is help from hospice three times per week to change the residents' underclothes. They should get more caregivers since they don't have enough to take proper care of residents' hygiene. The facility doesn't meet our needs and they don't look into our concerns.

"Great care and attention at Sweetwater for my Mom's needs"
My mom has been staying in the Memory Care unit here for just 3 weeks, and I’m really happy with how she's being looked after. The staff is always available to answer questions or address any concerns. They even give you their cell phone numbers so you can reach them anytime. When I noticed my mom wasn’t eating well, I called to see if she could have more of her favorite foods. The Chef got back to me in 15 minutes, asked what she liked, and promised he would make sure she got her favorites. The facility is clean and well-maintained. Whenever I call to check on my mom, the staff gives me a thorough update. I highly recommend Sweetwater for anyone’s loved one.

"Paid More for Less at Assisted Living Facility"
My friend really didn't take to the harsh fluorescent lights at the facility, leading to frequent complaints. Moreover, striking up friendships was somewhat of a challenge for her. I think this kind of struggle is quite common for elderly folks in these places. However, what was truly disappointing was the food - bland, monotonous institutional meal offerings made her miserable. The facility also lacked punctuality in providing her necessary medications. Despite numerous calls, no response was offered. On a brighter note, her bathroom was spacious and the entire unit decent in size. However, she was majorly displeased. To add insult to injury, the cost increased during her stay. While she bore the cost of nursing services, they fell short of providing the value expected, given the high fees.

"Friendly Staff, Dated Facility"
The staff is really friendly, and I appreciate their personalities. However, the facility seems a bit old. It’s comparable to Benton House, but newer.
