"Cozy and Welcoming Assisted Living: A Family-Friendly Choice"
The staff here is really nice, and the place isn't too big, which I like. They have lots of things to do like games and trips out. The building is a bit old, but they've done some good updates. They also take care of the cleaning and laundry. I think it's a good place for family and friends to check out.

"Mixed Feelings About Camellia Place"
We took a virtual tour of Camellia Place, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the inside. It felt more like a community setting than individual apartments, so it might not be the best fit for my mom.

"Unresponsive Management and Inadequate Care at Pretty Assisted Living"
The place looks nice, but that's about it. The staff doesn't deliver on what they promise. Because the care was so uneven, our dad ended up in the hospital from lack of proper oversight. They brought in a new nurse who didn't even know about our dad's medical needs, which put him in the hospital – they should've been keeping an eye on it. Their response to COVID has been bad. They keep closing because staff get sick. They're really strict about not letting families visit, which isn't good for anyone's health. They expect you to take your loved one to the doctor because they can't seem to handle transportation, but at the same time, they won't allow family visits. Their top nurse is leaving soon, which will make things even worse. The boss and the owners don't seem to care or listen to us. The place is run more like a big business than a caring home. It's just not worth the money.

"We Like the Set Up"
This community has friendly and helpful staff who are doing a good job with my mom. It was closer to me and a better fit. She enjoys the activities, and we had a delicious meal there. She likes the variety of food, including fish, beef, chicken, and pork. They ask residents what they want to eat a week before. I would recommend this community.

"A wonderful community with caring staff and great food!"
I can't say enough good things about this community. My mom really enjoys living there. The food is tasty, and they have healthy options too. I know the owners, and they really care about the residents. There's a lot of personal attention, and if anyone needs extra help, they make sure it's provided. I highly recommend this clean and cozy community!

"Caring Staff and Family-Style Dining Create Close Community"
I really like the family-style dining and that it's privately owned. The managers and staff seem to truly care about the residents and their feelings. I love how everyone lives in small villages, which helps staff and residents build long-term relationships.
