"Attentive Staff, Clean Environment: A Recommended Assisted Living Facility"

The food here is good according to me, though my mom has a different opinion. Whenever I visit, the meals they serve me are fine. The staff pays close attention to everything and keeps us informed about everything. The place is very clean, and the staff is wonderful. The people here genuinely care and take the time each person needs. I would recommend this place to others in similar situations with their loved ones.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"

My mom didn't stay there long, but we were satisfied with the care she got. I understand it's tough to cook for so many people with different health needs and allergies. Mom was diabetic and sometimes got up to three starches per meal.

"Memory Care Facility Review: Needs Significant Improvements"

The place where people with memory issues stay really needs some big changes and better staff! It smelled kind of bad there. They could have made it cleaner. The meals weren’t great and should get better. Overall, the whole memory care spot should get a complete makeover. I wouldn’t tell anyone to go there. But I do want to say that the young lady at the front desk was super nice and did her best to help, even though she can’t fix everything in the memory care part. I’m crossing my fingers it gets better.

"Great community, but too far from home for us."

The place was nice, but it was just too far from where we live.

"Terrible experience at misleading "5 star" assisted living facility"

My family member was in this place for around about a year and it was just awful. We couldn't stand to leave her there. It seemed like everyone who worked there, apart from one cook and two nurses, ended up leaving. They couldn't keep their workers and they weren't taking care of their residents like they should. Lots of families ended up taking their loved ones out of there just like we did. We heard that it used to be a really nice place when the owner first opened it and that's why people used give it 5 stars. But then it got sold and the standards slipped big time. They shouldn't be allowed to say it's a 5 star place now because it definitely is not.

"Affordable and Clean Assisted Living Facility with Helpful Staff"

The place was really nice and clean. It's an older building, but they keep it up well. Irene was super helpful. The price was within what I can afford even with the extra cost for care. I'm thinking about choosing this place, but I need more details from the doctors about what exactly is necessary and when it's needed.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"

This place is great! The staff are friendly and helpful. They take good care of the residents and help them feel less anxious. The rooms are nice, and everyone gets their own room. My mom likes the food here. The staff even handle all the insurance stuff for her. I think others would like it here too.

"Poor Services and Unsatisfactory Living Conditions at Assisted Living"

I'd advise not to let someone you care about live here. They didn't do the things my loved one needed, like making the bed. The food was bad. Bugs were in my loved one's room. My loved one's room got moved due to a leaking shower that caused mold on the closet and shoes. The handyman just sucked up the water and never repaired the shower or drywall.

"Unresponsive Cameron Hall Neglectful to Injured 92-Year-Old Resident"

I've been trying for months to gather my thoughts to write this review about Cameron Hall, an assisted living facility in Canton, where my beloved 92-year-old grandma was living. I had hoped never to relive the terrible experiences we had. My grandma lost her two sons, who were caring for her, within a year. This left me searching for a place close by. I decided on Cameron Hall. She moved there at the start of February, still fairly mobile and in good spirits, though she struggled with eating enough. Her first three weeks there went reasonably well with some minor issues. Unexpectedly, she hurt her while helping a fellow resident. Sadly, her health went downhill quickly, and she ended up bedridden, in pain. Shockingly, I was never informed by Cameron Hall about her injury. I only knew when my grandma and her hospice team got hold of me. This is a service we were paying Cameron Hall to provide. Her appetite declined, and I trusted the staff to help her with eating. However, the silent treatment from Cameron Hall didn't break. By March, when the pandemic hit, the facility went on lockdown. She dialed me crying of back pain, and all I wanted to do was to help. She was supposed to be given morphine, but the med staff claimed they couldn't due to rules. After some pushback, they let me in, with precautions, to administer it myself. That was the last time I saw her alive. I reached out to the Manager of Resident Care expressing my concerns. I was initially met with endless excuses, then later told that she could have her morphine. I was assured of better caregiving and was promised it wouldn't reoccur. A few days later, I got a call from her. She was crying in pain as she hadn't been given any of her morning medication. I was informed by that day's lone med-tech, who was already handling other residents' emergencies. I was at my wit's end and wanted to move her. But, the pandemic made it tough. Yet again, I reached out to the Resident Care Manager with my grievances, and, again, only received half-hearted apologies and empty promises. The pattern of negligence continued for about ten more days. I never received any calls from Cameron Hall. On one particular day, she called me, crying in severe pain and throwing up constantly. She mentioned a nurse had promised her relief but never returned. I tried reaching out to my grandma several times and to Cameron Hall as well, but no one picked up. Eventually, her hospice team, not Cameron Hall, informed me that she had passed away. I still haven't received any communication from Cameron Hall about her care.

"Limited Care, Pleasant Environment"

The staff was really nice and they helped us a lot. The place was clean but we found out that my mom needs more help than they can give.

"Like being on vacation!"

When it was time for my parents to move into assisted living, a family friend recommended Cameron Hall. After visiting several facilities and reviewing costs and services, Cameron Hall was our clear choice. Since moving in, both of my parents have shown wonderful improvements. The consistent medication, proper meals, and amazing care confirmed we made the right decision. My mom tells everyone, It's like being on vacation all the time. Neither wants to return to their old home. Cameron Hall is a true blessing.

"A Wonderful Place for Mom to Thrive"

My mom is getting close to her first year at Cameron Hall, and I think she’s getting amazing care. All her physical, social, and emotional needs are taken care of in a clean and loving environment. She has help around the clock from a fantastic team of friendly and caring people who treat her with kindness and respect. Every employee knows her by name and spends quality time with her! It’s such a relief to know that Mom is in this special community, and it’s only 10 minutes from my house!

"Wonderful Care at Cameron Hall Highly Recommended Assisted Living."

My mother has been living at Cameron Hall since 2012. The staff takes great care of her, showing her a lot of respect and appreciation. They genuinely care about her, which is exactly what I wanted for her. Cameron Hall was a family-owned place for 16 years before the owner decided to retire and sell it to Five Star Senior Living. Since then, they've made some positive updates, but the changes have been minor and beneficial. I've seen for myself how much Cameron Hall cares about its residents. They're getting a makeover, and while that’s nice, it’s the people who really matter. The staff here is some of the best I’ve ever met. This is my mother’s third community in four years, and she's been well cared for here. I'm very happy with her care, and I think you will be too.

The staff at Cameron Hall is very nice and they do a good job keeping the residents busy with fun things to do. Even though the building is old, it still feels nice inside. I really like the atmosphere there.

"Alzheimer's Care Lacking - Evictions Without Assistance"

The dementia wing at this assisted living residence is superficial. It might do well for someone who's just a touch "absent-minded," but they lack the resources to handle the needs of someone with Alzheimer's, especially the behaviors that come with the disease. They gave my family member only a 30-day notice to leave and offered zero assistance in locating a new care facility. His behavior was nothing outside of the norm for Alzheimer's.

I like Cameron Hall. They’ve done what they said they would when we joined. The place looks nice, care is good, and staff are friendly and professional.

Our experience has been positive. We can't find any concerns. The staff has done well, and we're content.

"Friendly staff, great care options, and accessible facilities"

Staff here is friendly and always ready to help. The meal options give residents nice choices, and the handicap-accessible bathrooms were a big reason I chose Cameron Hall for my spouse. They offer four levels of care, and my husband’s needs are met at the highest level, which really matters to us. The administration is accommodating, and there are activities every morning and afternoon. The building is clean and well-kept, and it’s close to our home.

"Not Quite the Perfect Fit for Mom's Care"

We checked out this place because they care for folks with memory troubles, but it just didn't seem right. It's tricky to put into words, but we weren't comfortable leaving my mom there. It's not a knock on the people there, it just wasn't a good fit. A lot of these places have a certain smell. It wasn't terrible, just not as nice as some other places we visited.

"Cameron Hall: A Cozy, Personable Assisted Living Home]]"

I recently visited Cameron Hall, and I was thoroughly impressed. What stood out to me was that it's a privately-owned facility, which makes it smaller and more intimate. You don't have to worry about getting lost in a massive complex. The atmosphere feels just like home, and each resident has their own private room.

"Very clean, friendly staff and owners, but location is a drawback."

The assisted living facility is very clean, with friendly staff and owners. The residents are well-groomed and well-cared for. The dining area, common spaces, and gardens are nice. The only downside is the location.

"Braves Room is great, owner should update old-fashioned interiors"

I really like the Braves room. However, the owner seriously has to spruce up the interiors - they're pretty old-fashioned and need a bit of care.
