"Mixed Feelings on Cozy Assisted Living Facility with Limited Availability"
The assisted living place has a cozy, welcoming ambiance. Unfortunately, they don't have any openings in their memory care unit currently. They do have a personal care room under renovation with a bedroom and a living area with many windows that costs $4400 monthly. There are only 12 rooms in their memory care division and from what I observed, most of the residents there are quite advanced in their conditions and don't seem too aware. The entire facility has keyed access for both entry and exit. They have a great garden area, though it's currently not secure. The staff member, was really kind and showed genuine interest in offering the best care.

Everyone has been incredibly caring since my husband moved in on May 28, 2017. The staff goes above and beyond to get patients involved in activities and make sure they feel at home. They also keep in touch with family members every day.

"Feels Like Family in a Beautiful, Well-Kept Facility"
was super friendly and had done her homework from our first chat. My mom loves bowling, and had info on the nearest bowling alley, league times, and discount days ready for us. That was really thoughtful. The place is beautiful and very well-kept. The staff and residents seemed like one big family. Very impressive.

The staff here are really nice and know what they’re doing. When you walk in, the place feels very welcoming. Both the staff and the residents are happy, and the staff always greet you with a smile. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone looking for a homey atmosphere.

"Country Gardens Feels Like Family, Loved it from the Start"
I visited another place in College Park and met the owner, who showed me Country Gardens. My family didn’t know anything about it before, but I really love living here. It feels like I’m part of the family.

"Great care and value at Country Gardens!"
Country Gardens does a great job! The staff has been super helpful and patient throughout the whole process, working hard to make the move easier for my loved one. The care and services at Country Gardens are a fantastic deal for the price, and the option for shared room rates was a big reason we chose this place. My only concern is that the common area in the Alzheimer’s care wing feels a bit small, but other than that, we are very happy!

"Hidden Gem: A Happy Chapter at Country Gardens"
My sister loves her new life at Country Gardens. The staff is friendly, professional, and caring. The house feels like home and is well-maintained. The only issue is the food—some meals are good, while others aren't.

"Great Care, Needs Better Activities and Food Variety"
My grandmother lives here, and it's really clean with amazing care. The staff at Country Garden genuinely care about the residents and go out of their way to keep them comfortable. My grandmother was worried about possible abuse, but her concerns were quickly eased in the first few days. I really like this place and the staff, but I think there should be more activities on the days when the activities director is not there, as residents get bored. Also, the food could use more variety. The residents get three meals a day, but they often complain about the food quality.

"Good, Homey Feel with Room for Improvement"
We visited this place when we were looking for care options for a family member. Overall, I thought they did a good job. The facility felt like home. I liked that the rooms were not all the same. The place wasn't as well kept as some others I've seen, but they were getting new management, and I think they were working on it.

"Mom Feels Right at Home at Country Gardens Assisted Living!"
We can't say enough about how lucky we are to be part of the Country Gardens family. My mom, who is 87, has been living there for two months now. Moving from her own home to assisted living was a tough decision for her and took a lot of time. She really didn’t want to go, but when she realized she couldn’t live alone anymore, she agreed to move 4 hours away to be closer to me in Atlanta. After looking into many places, I chose Country Gardens for her. The whole process with Scott, the Director, and the staff was smooth and easy. They were all incredibly helpful and friendly to both Mom and me. That kindness hasn’t changed at all since she arrived. She quickly made new friends and really values the caring and professional attention she gets. The staff keeps me well-informed about her needs and well-being. Mom feels safe with them because they are attentive to every need she has. Country Gardens offers a lot of activities for their residents. Overall, Mom adjusted much faster and easier than I expected and feels like she’s truly at home now. I even feel comfortable when I visit her. Her room is small but very cozy, and the whole facility is always clean and well-maintained. It looks beautiful inside and out. Mom is very picky about food, but she’s been really happy with the meals and the dining room staff. We are very satisfied with Country Gardens in every way. Both Mom and I highly recommend it. Thank you, Scott and all the staff, for making a great home for my mom!

"We're really happy with it"
We have no complaints. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I haven't tried the food yet, but she loves it so far. She's doing much better at this home. We had her at another place, but she's doing way better here. There's a spot for residents to go outside. We're really happy with it.

"Incredible Care and Support with a Personal Touch"
I really love this place and the staff. They are so loving and caring. The communication is excellent; they always call us with updates, which is great because we want to be involved. They go above and beyond to help my dad, especially since he's been having a hard time. The dementia unit is small, with just a few rooms, but that means they can give more personal care. The only thing I'd like to see is a makeover for the dementia unit, but I understand they have budget limits. I can't say enough good things about them. Every nurse I talk to is willing to chat and they’re doing their best.

"Budget-friendly, friendly staff, spacious rooms with security."
I went on a tour with the director, and it was really nice. They were understanding about my budget. The staff was super friendly, and they even remembered me. The room I liked was too expensive, but they had another one within my budget, which was a shared room, but it was bigger than the other option. Plus, they have good security measures in place.
