"Mixed Feelings: Friendly Directors, Disappointing Daily Staff, Pet-Friendly Environment"
We think there are around 5 different directors, all really nice and supportive. The place looks clean and nice overall. But, the everyday staff who work with the residents don't do a good job. They don't seem interested in helping; instead, they try to avoid it as much as possible. This is very frustrating for our loved one and our family. The management knows about the issues, and we understand they're having trouble finding enough staff, like many other places. They're doing okay given the circumstances, but we hope the staff improves soon as the work environment gets better. One good thing is that they're very pet-friendly. Our loved one has a service dog, and they're very accommodating. There are also about 6 other dogs in the community, and even a house dog that hangs out with the residents.

"Great Experience at Dogwood Forest Thanks to Friendly Front Desk"
I’ve only been to Dogwood Forest while searching for a place for my aunt and uncle. I haven’t set up any appointments yet, but I have to mention Miss [name removed] at the front desk. She was super friendly, knew a lot, and was incredibly nice! We’ll definitely return because of Miss [name removed]! Thanks!

"Assisted living TV issues persist; food and staff commendable."
We know new places have hiccups, but the TV trouble worries us. Mom and Dad, here a month, still have TV glitches unresolved. They stay busy with activities and social hours, but TV matters to them. They stay for the delicious food. Staff is nice but needs more help; hope they hire soon.
