Eastside Gardens

"Well-managed COVID precautions; rooms recently refreshed."
Our family member moved in just before COVID hit. We've been really impressed with how well they've kept COVID away from the place. The rooms are okay, and they even refreshed her room right before she moved in, which was a nice touch.

"Assisted Living Facility Costs Over Budget with No Vacancies"
This facility is nice, but it's too expensive for me and they have no available rooms.

"Friendly Staff, Limited Care"
We visited East Side Gardens, was wonderful. The place was pleasant, and everyone was super friendly. Unfortunately, they couldn’t provide the care my mom required.

"Staff attentive, Alzheimer's unit needs improvement, overall positive experience."
I think the staff is doing well caring for my loved one. She's in the Alzheimer's section, which feels a bit dark with chilly rooms. The rest of the place is nice. Overall, it's been positive.

"Cramped Memory Care Facility with Alarming Seating Rules"
We checked out the memory care at this place. It's really cramped, and folks are just sitting in their chairs in the corridor. They've got alarms that go off if they try to stand up, so someone can ensure they're seated. It doesn't sit well with me, but it seems like they're all pretty much the same.

"Positive review despite facility age, prioritizes care for loved one."
I thought the place was really nice. It's a bit older, but that doesn't matter to us. What's important is the care. My loved one hasn't moved in yet but will soon.

"Cozy Community with Caring Staff"
The staff were super helpful even before we moved in. It's a cozy community with friendly connections between staff and residents.

"Safe and Welcoming Home for Loved Ones"
Eastside Gardens is just what I needed for my loved one. The place is secure with locked doors, but she doesn't feel trapped. She loves the back patio and garden path where she can relax and enjoy the plants and flowers. The staff made her move easy and helped a lot. I highly recommend Eastside Gardens for anyone looking for a great place for their family member.

"Cleanliness Concerns and Odor Deterred Our Assisted Living Decision"
We went to check out this place while searching for care for a family member. We didn't stick around for too long because we weren't impressed. The place didn't seem clean, and there was a smell when we walked in. We didn't even finish the tour, we left after a few minutes.

"Friendly Assisted Living with Wound Care Limitations"
They were really friendly, but they told me they couldn't treat the wound properly. The facility was small and nice, just what I wanted. My dad's friend recommended it. It looked clean and pretty, like an old antebellum home.

"Stinky Entrance and Rusty AC Units Unimpressive"
Doesn't make a good impression. Stinks when you walk in. AC units are rusty.

"Assisted Living Needs Updates and More Staff"
This place has an elevator and a small garden. But I didn't see many care workers around. Residents help each other come back from lunch. There's a big activity room on the second floor. But it looks like it hasn't been updated since the 90s.
