"Poor Communication and Unfair Billing Practices at this Facility"
I'd advise folks to watch out for the staff here. They are not good at communicating and they don't treat you the way they're supposed to. The people in charge are really bad. Two weeks after my dad passed away, they started a lawsuit against me for money, even when they hadn't even given me a bill. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

"Great staff, awful corporation and food"
The gruel they dish up is more disgusting than the slop that's fed to jailbirds. The workers were a dream to interact with. Anytime I sent an email asking about something or expressing worries, I'd get a reply super quickly - usually within an hour. So, there's a great team and residents here, but the main company? Not so good.

"Feels like home with daily activities, but food needs improvement."
Legacy Village feels more like a home than an assisted living place. They offer activities like bingo and exercise classes, so there's always something to do. Our loved one's room has a bedroom with space for a few chairs and a bathroom. They also offer two-bedroom options with a bath. The only issue we have is with the food quality; it's just not good.

"Understaffed Facility with Subpar Services and Deceptive Practices"
While the facility and its residents are kept clean by dedicated employees who work hard, often beyond their regular hours and for little pay, the place often suffers from staffing shortages. It's common to see employees who don't show up for work. Many of these hardworking staff members are paid barely more than the minimum wage. The food served is passable but comes from frozen or canned sources and the bread is bland. Notably, the staff members themselves choose not to eat the facility's food. The management seems to cut corners whenever possible. They are not truthful in their advertising, claiming that "two nurses are always on duty." While these individuals do hold nursing degrees, they are part of the administrative team and do mostly paperwork, leaving resident checkups, including sick individuals, largely neglected. Recurrent issues with bedbugs and pneumonia have been noted. The activities staff appears underqualified and unproductive, seemingly just there to collect their paychecks. Complaints filed with the corporate authorities and state officials who oversee such facilities have been disregarded. Even when they did investigate, it took the state officials a whole month. The majority of the residents need nursing home-level care rather than assisted living, which calls for more staff members. Other facilities under Legacy Village may be better but one should remain cautious.

"Great Staff and Activities, Aging Facilities, Good Value in Georgia Assisted Living"
Legacy Village in Georgia ranks about average compared to other modern facilities in Atlanta, and quite good compared to those in Thomasville. The staff and managers are actively involved. The meals are comforting, though maybe not the healthiest. Residents enjoy a variety of activities. The cost is reasonable. However, the buildings are showing signs of age. They keep them clean and touch up the paint, but the technology used in assisted living has advanced, leaving it feeling a bit old-fashioned. But this might be a matter of preference. Still, for anyone looking between Tallahassee and Valdosta, this is one of the best options available. It’s affordable, with excellent staff and a good location. We would choose it again without any doubt.

"Friendly Staff but Facility Needs Upgrade, Renovation Required"
Pleasant but outdated facility. They only had one room available in the memory care section and one unit open on the second floor for those who live independently. The hallway in the memory area had a really strong pee smell, maybe from old or wet carpet. This place really needs an upgrade. The staff that I met were nice.
