"Great caregivers, friendly staff, and cozy apartment"
The caregivers are wonderful. One of my ministers visited recently and noticed how different it is here under the new ownership. Everyone is so friendly and always willing to help. I really like my apartment. It's roomy, homey, and looks out over the garden, which is nice. Being a Celiac, it's a struggle with food, always asking, "Can you eat this? Can you eat that?" every day. But that would be the same anywhere, and they try to accommodate me. They have a lot of activities, but I just don't care for the ones they offer.

"Mom Thriving and Happy in Welcoming Assisted Living Community"
My mom's doing well here. She's found things to do, like some jobs, and stays busy. She really enjoys the community and the staff, and I think she's happy to be staying there.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
The place is a bit old. They should clean better. Food's good. They offer activities. Needs some updates. Recommended for good care and value.

"Mixed Experience at Magnolia Manor Assisted Living Facility"
My family member's been here a few months. Some staff's great, but not all. You know those who light up a room? Well, some bring darkness. In all my working years, I only encountered one like that, but it was enough to recognize. It's worse when they're in authority, sucking life out even from good employees. Nursing homes should pay attention, ensuring those in charge care about patients, not their domain. If your family member is independent, maybe it's okay. If not, they need a nearby advocate. Based on our experience, it's not a permanent solution. I wouldn't choose it for myself or any family member.

Daughter of former resident
"Mixed Feelings and Changes Over Time"
Their assisted living place was very expensive and quite sad. The independent living apartments were nice, but they were way out in the middle of nowhere. She lived there for 30 years. When her dad was alive, they were very active, doing lots of volunteer work. But after he passed away, she mostly stayed in her room. It was okay, but things aren't the same anymore. Many of her friends have passed away, and they used to have a lot of activities, but not anymore. I'm not sure if it's because of money or something else, but she doesn't really do much anymore.
