""Negligent Care and Terrible Conditions at Assisted Living Facility""
My mom faced a horrifying experience in this nursing home. She was in a wheelchair after hip surgery, and she had a terrible fall. The nurses said she was fine, but she actually had internal bleeding in her brain for four days before finally being rushed to the emergency room. My poor mom didn't survive; she died at the age of 69. Apart from this, the place was in atrocious condition. Her room was invaded by a rat, the therapy sessions rarely happened. Also, mom was often unwashed and in grimy clothes. Even the bathroom was in a poor state, with a constant leaky pipe. This facility is absolutely revolting.

"Poor Care and Communication at Magnolia East Claimed Lives"
WOULD DOING THESE THINGS BE RIGHT?: 1. Would it be okay to watch a resident become sick and not let their family know until it's too late to do anything? 2. Is it right for there to be a spreading illness on a floor, sending several folks to the hospital but their families are kept in the dark about it? 3. Then, when asked for medical records after my dad passed from an infection, they got their lawyer to question why I wanted them. My dad was a resident at Magnolia East for almost three years. He kept falling at home and needed nursing care that my mom and I couldn't give him. After a fall that put him in the hospital, his doctors told us he needed care we couldn't give him at home. Sadly, MM said they could provide it, but chose not to. My dad and his roommate both ended up in the ER the same day, both with an infection; my dad died in less than 24 hours.

"Brackets"
This assisted living facility on West 3 needs significant improvements. It lacks sufficient staff and those who are present don't actively care for the residents but mainly sit behind a desk. The health and safety of my loved one suffered as a result, including a fall that resulted in a broken shoulder. Additionally, the staff seemed to rush through their paperwork without much care. Some staff members even sported unpleasant attitudes. My loved one contracted a staph infection and suffered from dehydration during their stay. I strongly disapprove of this place and urge the state to investigate the facility as soon as possible. Despite my loved one no longer being there, I highly doubt the conditions have improved. Furthermore, they don't properly assist the residents who aren't bedridden, often leaving them in bed unattended or not helping wheelchair-bound residents get up. I urge you to frequently check up on your family members if they reside here." "Assisted Living Facility Lacks Basic Needs and Health Standards!"

"Excellent Care with a Compassionate Touch at Magnolia Manor East"
My mom stayed at Magnolia Manor East, and it was great. The place was very clean, with no bad smells like some other places I visited. The buildings are a bit old and could use some updates, but new and shiny doesn’t always mean better care. My mom had been at a newer place before, but the care wasn’t good there. We’ve been really happy with the care at Magnolia Manor. My mom is doing well and even moved back home. Thanks to the kind staff at Magnolia Manor for their excellent care. It really means a lot.

"Convenient Location Key; Chose Closer Assisted Living for Family Visits"
My husband visited this place and he said everyone was friendly and nice. It was too far away to easily visit my sister, so we picked a different place.

"Terrible Experience with Magnolia Manor in Father’s Care and Record Access"
My dad didn't get good care at Magnolia Manor. He wasn't looked after properly, which sadly led to him passing away. The place was so untidy, with dirty bandages strewn on the floor. His room was a mess and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. We don't even know when dad had his last bath or when his bed linens were last switched out. After my dad died, I tried so many times to request his medical records. But the staff was very unhelpful, the top boss there. She bluntly told me they never had any complaints and was very rude to me. She said it takes 30 days for medical records to be ready and a bunch of other stuff about involving their legal team and offices up top. Plus, I had to pay a fee for each page of the record. It's been three long months now, I have called them twice a week and left messages but she just won't call me back. And I still haven't seen my dad's records.

" NEGLECT AT MAGNOLIA: TERRIBLE CARE AND NO ANSWERS"
My dad didn't get the care he needed at Magnolia Manor. The staff often left him alone for too long. After he passed away, I found out his death was partly caused by their lack of care. His room was also dirty. They left used bandages on the floor. No one cleaned his room for days or knew when his bed was last made or his last bath. When he died, I tried getting his medical records to figure out what happened. When he was found unresponsive, his trach had come out. I got tired of waiting for a return phone call, so I visited Mary, the head of the facility. She was very rude and wouldn't say if there were recent complaints about the place. She explained that medical records have to be sent to the HQ, then a law firm, before I could have them. I also had to pay a fee per page. Three months later, I'm still making phone calls twice a week, leaving messages, and I still haven't got his records.

"Shocking Neglect at Magnolia Manor Assisted Living"
This elder care home is managed terribly, employing staff with barely any training. They fail to maintain clear communication, and the food they serve doesn't even taste edible. The menu is stuffed with carbs and doesn't take into account diet rules for those with kidney problems. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired, and it seems like they've completely forgotten about upkeep. The care provided to patients just scrapes the bare minimum. Complaints from residents are brushed off and the concerns raised by families are also overlooked. Getting Mom out of Magnolia Manor was the best decision I've made; she's now much more involved in activities, her mental sharpness has improved, and she's talking far more.

"Mixed feelings about cleanliness, but friendly staff and good value"
The Magnolia Manor of Columbus is nice overall, but I'm not sure if they keep it super clean. The people who work there are really nice and they care about the residents. It's a good deal because it's cheaper than other places nearby. They take good care of the residents and there are lots of fun things to do. My friend lives there and he seems happy.

"Caring Staff and Good Value at Magnolia Manor"
Magnolia Manor of Columbus is a decent spot, but I'm not totally sure about how clean it keeps things. People working there are really nice and good at taking care of others. It's also a cheaper choice than the others in the area. They offer amazing care services and fun activities. My friend lives there and he seems to like it.

"Great community, but lacks some security features."
So far, they’ve done a great job here! At first, my loved one didn’t want to move, but now that she’s settled in, she really likes it. We chose this place because it’s smaller and feels more comfortable for her. Everything is on one level, making it easy to get around. The staff is very friendly and caring, and they keep everything clean and well-maintained. Our only concern is the lack of security features like pendants and alarms that we saw in other memory care communities.

"Neglected Care: Truly a Bad Experience"
They didn't take good care of our family member at all. They forgot to give them their medicines, didn't put on their oxygen, and didn't even keep them clean. This place was a truly bad experience and, I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
