"Mixed Experience in Assisted Living Facility"
The staff is friendly, but consider other options for real assistance. It's the only place with diverse staff and residents. Meals are not healthy; high salt, lots of pork, limited fresh fruits.

"Assisted living mostly good, billing issues need attention and fixing."
I'd give them 5 stars, but I have a few issues with billing that they don't seem too concerned about fixing. I've told them many times that we'll handle her laundry, but they keep trying to charge me $55 a month for it. Also, about dining, I've repeatedly asked them not to bring food to her room because they charge $3 every time. Since her memory isn't great, when they ask if she wants something, she says yes and forgets about the charge. Every time I bring it up, they promise to fix it, but they never write anything down. This makes me think they're just delaying. If they were more responsive to these issues, I'd give them 5 stars.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living tour, pleasant but not top choice."
We toured the facility in person and found it to be a nice experience. However, it didn't quite excite us as much as some other places we visited.

"Affordable and Excellent Memory Care!"
It was super affordable! People in the memory care unit seemed really happy. The staff was excellent, and they had great activities. They were very helpful, and weekly housekeeping and laundry were included in the rent. I’d definitely recommend the memory care unit to others.

"Stressful Changes and Safety Concerns at This Assisted Living Facility"
This used to be a place where you'd feel good knowing your family member was being taken care of with real affection. After having 3 different managers in just 3 years, that comfort turned into serious worry and lots of stress. There are countless safety problems, the staff is always changing, and there's a ton of other problems that changed the whole mood. I HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST choosing this place and suggest looking somewhere else.

"Memory Care Needs Improvement, Assisted Living is Okay"
The memory care section was sad and didn't have any outdoor access for the people living there. The assisted living area was alright.

"Mixed Experience at Morningside Assisted Living"
We picked Morningside because it's affordable. But the night staff seemed grumpy and inattentive to residents. We had to move my mom after 32 days due to her care needs, and they charged us extra for meds and care upgrades. Maybe consider other options.

""Below Par Care and Hot Meals at Assisted Living Facility""
I would advise you to look for another care center. I had to remove my family member pretty quickly. The care they provided wasn't as good as we hoped for. Even though the food seemed nutritious and good to eat, it was always served hot when given.

"Great Assisted Living with Friendly Staff"
We picked Morningside of Savannah because it's super clean, spacious, and in a good location for our family. Before COVID, they had cool activities like animals visiting and live music. The staff is really nice and easy to talk to. I'd recommend it.

"Assisted Living Review: Decent but Needs Improvement"
We kinda like it, but they need more workers. The place stays clean, but they don't help Mom enough with washing. Food's not as good, maybe 'cause of COVID-19. Staff is nice.

"Facility fell short on maintenance, staff seemed caring, reminiscent environment."
We decided against this place. It wasn't kept up well. The workers seemed nice and spent time with the people living there. But it felt too much like where our family member already stays.

"Avoid Marshview: Staff Incompetent in Memory Care"
I'd advise against using the memory care unit at Marshview. Most of the staff seems unskilled and not well-trained. They don't seem to know how to correctly interact with those dealing with memory loss. If you're there, try to watch the unit and chat with the family members of residents if they're around. This will help give you a more accurate picture of the memory care unit's quality.

"Poor Safety and Lack of Care at Assisted Living Facility"
My grandma slipped in her bathroom and hit her medical alert button. A nurse answered but my aunt had to take care of things since she got there sooner. The nurse did ring me to let me know my grandma had been taken to the hospital but that she would be okay and coming back to the assisted living home soon. Unluckily, my grandma stumbled again about three weeks ago. She was on her way to my mom's car and uses a walker, but she also tried to hold onto a wobbly handrail which made her lose balance. My grandma is still in the hospital and will be for another two weeks at least. After that, she'll have to do rehab for a few weeks. None of the folks at Marshview have called or visited her. When my mom or aunt use my grandma's apartment to freshen up, the head of the home doesn't acknowledge them and won't pay for my grandma's stay while she's in the hospital.
