"Needs improvements for better care quality."
I liked it nearby, but needs upgrades, better food, and staff consistency.

"Caring Staff and Responsive Director"
The staff are friendly and patient with my mom, even when she’s difficult. The director is always available, even after hours. They work hard to meet everyone’s needs.

"Disappointing Experience with Assisted Living Facility"
They say they have crafts and other activities like field trips, but I don't think my grandmother has had any. Most of their patients have severe dementia and have trouble communicating. Our grandmother has dementia but can still care for herself and talk well, even though she forgets things. There's a separate area in the front for assisted living, with nicer furnishings and probably much better food. The people there can speak, talk, and remember. That area is more expensive and probably all out-of-pocket. The price here is good, but the staff and management seem not to care. We asked them to put a light bulb in her room, but it still wasn't done the last time I checked, which was about 2 or 3 months ago. Her room is very dull and kind of depressing. You also have to bring your own furniture, including the bed, dressers, side tables, and bed linens and towels. There was a cabinet in her bathroom hanging off its hinge, and I'm not sure if it's been fixed yet. We talked about it many times with no follow-up. The cabinet was just above the toilet, so if you're not careful, you could hit your head on the corner of the door. I brought her glasses, and now they are gone. The facility has no idea where they are. But we're about to get out of there! Amen! I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

"Mixed feelings: Staff helpfulness varied. Convenient location. Recommendable."
The workers weren't all that nice sometimes, but my mom can be difficult. We chose this place because it's close by. I think it's okay and would tell other people about it.

"Poor Care and Lack of Accountability at Oaks at Conyers"
We moved my family member out of this place. Anyone considering Oaks at Conyers or who has a relative here should know that for the memory care sections, no matter which facility you choose, surprise visits are vital to ensure your family member is properly looked after. There's a real need for them to work on making the staff more responsible. Others might have different experiences, but this was ours. We saw good reviews when we were looking.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Overall, our experience here has been good. We're still figuring out some things. The medicine service costs more than a regular pharmacy, which is frustrating. I know it's part of Assisted Living, but the higher cost doesn't make sense to me. I also wish they provided printed menus and activity schedules. It would help, especially for outings when I need to prepare money for my loved one. She isn't happy with the food; she prefers more home-style and nutritious meals with more vegetables. However, the facility is clean, and the laundry service is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. Despite some issues, I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

"Clean Community with Room for Improvement"
The Oaks at Conyers is a really clean place, but they could do better with care and meals. Our loved one says the food isn't great and lacks flavor. Even though activities can be tough for memory care residents, the staff tries hard to keep everyone engaged. With some improvements, we'd recommend Oaks at Conyers to other families.
