"Great Value and Friendly Staff at Morningside of Dalton"
We picked Morningside of Dalton because of its location and great value. Friends who had family here also recommended it. Her room is small, but it meets her needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I like that it’s a smaller place with only about 40 residents, so it doesn’t get too crowded. She seems to enjoy the food. I would recommend it to others looking for a place like this.

"Unimpressed with Oaks at Dalton Facility"
The Oaks at Dalton wasn’t nice at all. I’ve passed by this place a lot and never wanted to check it out, but my family was curious, so I ended up going. The more I looked around, the less I liked it. It just seemed like a really bad place.

"Awful Absence of Staff and Unpleasant Director, Reeks of Nursing Home"
This is the most terrible facility I've ever visited. They don't have enough employees and the top boss was incredibly disrespectful. The place not only looks like a nursing home, but also has the smell.

"Avoid! Horrible Director and Insufficient Staff!"
This is the worst facility I've ever visited. They don't have enough staff, and the boss is super mean. The place looks and smells like those old folks' homes.

"Highly recommend Morningside for elderly care"
I had never been to Morningside before last year, and I only know it because my mom stayed there for 9 months. I did a lot of research to find a safe and reliable place for my mom as she was nearing her 100th birthday. I asked my friends in Dalton for recommendations and checked out four different places in the area. I visited all of them months in advance to make the move easier. I was worried my mom would resist when I took her for a short stay after she fell. But within three days in Morningside’s “respite room,” she was already saying she loved it there! The next month, we moved her into a permanent room, and she quickly made friends and felt at home. The staff was wonderful and seemed to really care about all the residents. They were very patient with my mom, and I saw them being just as kind to other residents who needed more help than my mom did. The place was clean, the food was good, and the lobby/visiting area was very nice. It’s a small facility, so the residents get a lot of personal attention. There are lots of activities and scenic bus rides. It’s located at the foot of Dug Gap Mountain with beautiful landscaping. Ken is a great director, and Toni, the activities director, is amazing. The base rates are easy to understand with no surprise fees. I highly recommend Morningside!

"Doing a great job here"
They're doing an awesome job so far, and I’d give them top marks all around. We’ve had my loved one in a few different places, but this is our favorite. My dad can be tough to deal with, but they’ve managed him well. He even had great things to say about the food!
