"Hospice Care Needs Were Not Met at The Lakes Assisted Living"
After my dad went to hospice care at The Lakes, the service wasn't enough. I wouldn't suggest it for hospice care.

"Director Friendly and Accessible, Meals and Activities Enjoyable"
The director at the assisted living facility has been really nice to our family. He's easy to talk to and always answers all our questions. Our loved one likes the food they serve and the dining experience. Also, the activities there are starting to go back to how they used to be, which is great!

"Assisted Living Facility Meets Our Needs Well"
When you're looking for a place to live with some help, you gotta know what you need. This place does what we need pretty good. We didn't need fancy trips or party places or a pool. It's a 4 out of 5 for us.

"Facility in progress with friendly staff and clean environment."
When I visited, the place was getting a makeover, so I couldn't really see how it looked. The people working there were nice and ready to assist, and even with the updates going on, everything seemed very neat and tidy.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Proper Care"
This place is okay if your family member can do things by themselves. My dad got sick and went to the hospital. He talked to the boss about his health. They said they had different levels of care and even hospice. We paid to keep his room. When he came back a month later, they put him in a lower level of care. Lots of times, we found him alone in his room with no lights, TV, or even drinks. His room was really hot and he kept trying to take off his clothes. He ended up back in the hospital because he got sick again. The boss called and said he couldn’t come back to the place because they couldn’t take care of him. Then, the hospital found out he had another stroke that the place didn’t notice. When we moved him out, some of his stuff was missing, and the boss never called me. Some workers were nice, but others were mean. They need to understand what they can and can’t do.

"The facility is outdated and challenging for visually impaired residents."
The place seemed old and not very nice. Plus, it would be tough for someone with poor eyesight to move around the hallways.

"Friendly Director, Lacks Medication Management Experience"
The head of the home isn’t too skilled; she seemed unsure about what to do when a person living there took their own meds. Even so, she’s super nice and kind to everyone.
