"Communication issues and quick decline in health"
The downside of this community is that the director doesn't always respond to emails, even after multiple attempts. When you finally get a reply, she says she’s been busy. They are nice during sign-up, but not very helpful afterward. I liked a couple of the staff members, they were very sweet and helpful. It's hard to have a strong opinion because we weren't there long. My loved one declined quickly, and I don't know why. The place seemed clean, and the food seemed good for assisted living.

"Assisted Living Facility: Good Programs, Room for Accessibility Improvement"
They offer a good program and a solid COVID-19 plan. Room sizes are decent, but the showers need wheelchair access. The food is tasty, though more variety would be nice. I'd recommend this place to others.

"Relaxed Atmosphere and Convenient Location"
I liked the tour and the relaxed atmosphere. The rooms will meet our needs and the place is close. I'll ask for an evaluation for my mom to see if it's a good fit. The price might be a bit of a challenge when we get the final bill.

"Friendly Staff, But We Chose Closer Location"
Morningside of Macon felt pleasant and tidy. The staff knew their stuff, and the residents appeared happy. However, we picked another community closer to our family.

"Poor Quality and Unpleasant Smells at Assisted Living Facility"
This place smells really bad, like pee from a dog. We walked down one hallway and had to breathe through our mouths because of the strong smell. The carpet even had visible stains on them. The executive director seemed like she was in a hurry, not even having enough time to speak with us. I can't imagine wanting my mom to live in a place like this.

"Cozy and Comfortable Senior Living at Morningside of Macon"
We liked this place because it was small. A bigger community would've been overwhelming for us. Since it's small, it feels more like home. We've had good experiences with Morningside of Macon before. We're really happy with them and would suggest them to anyone.
