"Clean and Well-Kept, But Not Quite Cozy Enough"
We decided not to choose Sandy Springs in the end, but we really liked our tour. The place was clean and well-maintained, though we were hoping for a cozier atmosphere. Overall, it’s a great option.

"Wonderful place for seniors with friendly staff and good food!"
My mother has lived there for 12 years. The staff is great, and the food is good. It offers excellent value for senior retirement living, and I would highly recommend it. The employees are friendly, kind, and caring. The condos are large and well-maintained. The monthly cost is very reasonable for everything included.

"Impolite dining staff ruining otherwise decent retirement home"
As a resident here, I'm counting down the days till my lease ends so I can leave. The biggest issue here is the food and the folks working in the dining area. Even though I've paid for meals, when I go to eat, it's like an ordeal for most of the staff. They act as if I'm bothering them just by being there. To top it off, while the food isn't unpalatable, it's definitely not high quality. Older folks like me look forward to good meals, so this is a big letdown. Now, don't get me wrong - the management and the front desk and recreation teams are pleasant, and they genuinely try to make us feel welcome. But they've got to address the dining room situation. They should hire mystery shoppers to evaluate how the dining room staff treats patrons and to evaluate the phone service quality. If they deal with the unpleasant staff, this place could be great. Sadly, at my age, I refuse to spend my retirement being disrespected like this.

"Friendly, Flexible, and Convenient Assisted Living with Nearby Activities"
I live here and it's great. Everyone is friendly and always ready to help. The meal plan is really flexible. They offer three meals a day, but only some are covered by your monthly fee any extra meals are an additional cost. There’s a medical unit attached for emergencies, but it’s separate and not included in the condos you can buy or rent. Many extra services like cleaning, laundry, and home health are available, but you have to pay for them. They have lots of activities, though maybe not as many as other places I looked at. The exercise room is small, but they offer 1 or 2 exercise classes most days. We're just 4 blocks from the North Fulton Senior Center if you want more options. I’m happy here and have no plans to move.

"Wonderful While He Could Be There"
They were excellent, but my husband became too hard to handle as he aged. He became very belligerent, making it harder for them to care for him. When he first moved in, he loved it. It was a lovely place with nice people, a nice bedroom, excellent food, and activities. There was a lot for him to do, and he was able to do them then, but toward the end, he needed more care.

"Hospital-Like Atmosphere Loved by Residents and Nurses Alike"
This place was unique. It didn't feel like home; rather, it was more like a hospital. Its ambience reminded me of a hospital ward. Everything seemed cleaner and more plain. I spoke to a lady who lives there and she loved it. Even one of the nurses who visits often had positive things to speak about this place. However, I felt a distinct difference, like being in a hospital room as opposed to staying in an apartment.
