"Avoid Savannah Grand: Beware of Broken Promises and Dishonest Billing"
Savannah Grand, is teeming with dishonest people. I urge you not to send your family member to this place! In October, we felt forced to sign a contract to reserve "the last room." Since then, we haven't seen one penny of our initial $8,500 payment. Our family member has NEVER set foot in their facility; she never left the hospital! Despite her never entering the premises, we still receive MONTHLY bills from Savannah Grand on top of our original payment! We've sent letters to the Ombudsman's office, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and various other places. Even the BBB told us they couldn't get Savannah Grand to respond and refund our money. So please, DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY TO THESE OUTRIGHT THIEVES!!! They'll make promises to get your cash, but that's when the real trouble begins. They've lied about additional costs and misrepresented the level of care they can offer. They were, in fact, NOT even capable of providing the necessary care. Their only goal? Deceive you out of your money.

"Mixed Feelings about Assisted Living Facility"
The place could be cleaner, but most of the staff are nice and talk well. Sometimes, our family's stuff disappears, and the food portions are too little.

"Avoid Facility: Poor Care, Medication Mistakes, and Lack of Basic Needs"
Don't let your family stay here. They won't get the care they're promised. They focus on things like chili cook-offs for the managers, but don't worry about important stuff. Things like making sure the people living here can take showers, there was only one shower in two months. And that was only because I asked! They didn't even tell me. They didn't have toilet paper for two days. She had to search the hallways for leftover rolls. As for medicine, when we left, we found out my family member didn't get two of their prescriptions. Her blood pressure was super high for the first time in years. Avoid this place.

"Poor Communication and Bed Bug Infestation at Assisted Living Facility"
I'd advise you to look for other options instead of picking this living facility. They have a major problem with bed bugs and we even had to trash all of our family member's stuff. We were never warned about this and I only discovered it when we were moving my relative in. I seriously don't recommend them. Although they have a really good health care team, I haven't enjoyed dealing with the director. The communication between the staff and us family members has been poor. I've asked for my relatives' health records three times and haven't received them yet.

"Avoid this Facility: Poor Communication, Negligence and Bedbugs"
This place is horrible! My dad was here for about a year and a half. Everything seemed okay at first until the pandemic hit. The top staff, like the Executive Director and Office Manager, quit and we lost touch with them completely! Before the pandemic, we used to see my dad four times a week. Then we couldn't see him at all. We weren't allowed inside the building. It was terrible! We finally took my dad home last week and we were stunned by his state! He had scratches on his face. When we asked, they just said he fell. Then, we discovered he wasn't staying in his room because of bed bugs. Apparently, the facility had been dealing with this issue for a while. They even threw out my dad's bed and couch, but they never told us about it. Spare yourself the pain and keep away from this place!

"Poor Care at Assisted Living Facility"
I'd tell others our experience was pretty dismal. Don't move your family member here unless they're really self-sufficient and independent.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
The place was really clean and smelled good. Rooms were okay-sized. Food seemed good too. But, not enough staff for everyone.

"Understaffed Facility Broke Promises, Created Nightmare for Mom"
The boss was super messy and told lies she couldn't uphold. They claimed they'd offer different types of care but they didn't. They broke all their pledges. The workers were great but there weren't enough of them. It was a nightmare for my mom there.

"Not the Right Place for Mom"
The staff at Savannah Grand seem okay. The sales department promised a lot but didn't deliver. They said they could take care of my mom, who has memory problems, but that didn't happen. Her room was dark and messy, with paint on the carpet and bathroom floor. The toilet leaked, and there weren't enough outlets. The activities director didn't plan much, and residents didn't attend. We gave it 30 days, but it didn't work out. We should've trusted our instincts—it wasn't the right place for my mom.

"Helpful Staff, But Not Ideal for Mother-in-Law"
Savannah Grand was okay for my mother-in-law, but it wasn't perfect. The workers were really nice and did a lot to assist us.

"Dad loved his stay!"
My father spent a week at Savannah Court for a short stay. It was a really good experience. He had been to other places before, but they no longer did short stays. This place was a bit pricier, but it was better. He liked the meals and enjoyed the activities. He loves playing cards and found some other residents to play with. Overall, it was a positive experience.

"Critical Medication Neglected, Leads to Tragedy"
Our experience was completely regrettable. They promised to welcome my dad with his special physical necessities and everything he required. A hospice nurse found out that he hadn't been getting the crucial medication he needed. Once that happened, his lungs ended up collapsing as a result.

"Great Care, Clean Facility, and Activities Available"
I’m happy with the care for my father-in-law here. The staff is caring and kind. The food could be better, but my in-laws haven’t complained. The place is very clean and has activities for the residents. I would recommend this community for its great care and value.

"Respectful Staff at a Clean, Welcoming Facility"
My buddy and I really enjoyed checking out this place. All the people were super friendly and warm. Anytime we asked something, we'd get a clear response, and the person showing us around was a big help. The place looked amazing, super clean and well-kept. Everyone was really respectful towards us and treated us really well. It's a pretty awesome place overall.

This place is amazing. Everything was great for my sister. We’re not using their services anymore because she’s improved so much that she can move out now. I’d definitely recommend this community if you need it.

"Needs Improvement: Food, Staff Attitude, More Activities"
The meals they give us need a bit of work. The workers here could also be friendlier. It's no better than where I used to live, but there are more things to do here.

"Friendly Staff and Lovely Environment at Franciscan Woods Assisted Living"
I really liked Franciscan Woods. The people who work there are super nice, and they take good care of everyone who lives there. The place itself is really nice, and they have lots of things to do and help people out. The only thing that could have been better is if they explained their prices a little more, because our bill ended up being more than we expected.

"Lovely Place, But Too Expensive"
We visited this place when we were looking for care options for my loved one. It was a really nice place! The staff seemed very friendly, and the building was clean and well-kept. But, it was a lot more expensive than other places we checked out nearby, so we decided not to go with it.
