"Too pricey and too fancy for mom"
We liked this place, but we decided not to choose it for two reasons: 1. It was too expensive and 2. My mom couldn't wear jeans to dinner, which felt a bit too "fancy" for her.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
Sombery Sandy Springs Disappoints with Food and Bed Bug Issues Sombery Sandy Springs did a pretty good job keeping everyone safe from COVID during the pandemic. They made sure to keep us updated, which was nice. But the food wasn't that great, and the waiters were really slow. Sometimes the food even came cold, and there weren't many choices. My in-laws had bed bugs four times, and the person in charge didn't seem to care much about it. It's like they didn't take it seriously. I don't think the director is easy to work with, especially when it came to the bed bug problem.

"No RN on Staff at High-Cost Somerby in Sandy Springs"
Watch out! Somerby at Sandy Springs doesn't have a Registered Nurse (RN) in the position of Health Director anymore. Only Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) work in the building. Other Somerby locations have an RN on their staff, but not this one. I'm going to move my dad somewhere else because of this. When we first moved him here, I was assured there would always be an RN, and the previous one was amazing. This facility charges a lot and they should certainly provide an RN.

"Disappointing Dining Experience at Somerby Assisted Living Sandy Springs"
This place looks nice and the staff is friendly, but I can't recommend it. The food is terrible and the service is really bad. Eating here is a big part of the day for seniors, and it's shocking how bad it is. My mom used to be at Somerby in Alpharetta when it first opened. The food was good there, with a bigger menu, and the service was okay. But it's the opposite at Somerby in Sandy Springs. I dread going there to eat with my mom. We've complained, but nothing improves. Look at other places before deciding.
