"Good staff, recommend diverse activities for all residents."
Most staff are good, but some seem to clock-watch. Recommend varied activities for all residents.

"Keeping Seniors Active and Happy in Community Living"
Today, we have choices besides nursing homes. Memory centers provide activities, exercises, and brain games that help seniors stay engaged and active. They're great for keeping older adults communicating and living life to the fullest. I looked for a place like this for my mom, who has early dementia. I found Southern Pines a small, friendly community with caring staff. While it can't replace home, I hope she'll find happiness there. So far, she's settling in well and seems happy. Memory centers are becoming more popular and improving over time.

"Great care and compassionate staff for your loved ones"
This is a great place. My friend liked the staff and the setting. The community was clean, and the staff was very caring and attentive. The food was excellent, and the care was top-notch. We would suggest this community for its amazing compassion for families.

"Impressed with Their Facility and Service"
They were really kind and straightforward with making the arrangements. I was impressed with their facility. They are doing great. They keep it clean, and the staff is friendly. I don't have any concerns right now. It's going pretty well.

"Price Increased Unexpectedly Concerns About Transparency and Costs"
My stepfather moved in a bit over a month ago. At first, I was happy with the price, but then he had a couple of falls, and now they say he needs "level 2" care, which costs more. They didn't tell us the price could go up so fast. It's only been 30 days, and now it's much more expensive. Since he's just barely level 2, I think they should be more flexible. It feels a bit like they advertised one thing but gave us another.

"Good overall, but feel like I was bait and switched."
We put my stepfather in a month ago. Happy with price, but now it's increased due to his falls. Disappointed.

"Short-staffed but clean and friendly assisted living."
Southern Pines is okay. The place is clean and staff are nice. But there aren't enough staff. They're always busy, so it's hard to get help. When they do help, it feels like they just tick you off a list and then forget about you.

"Okay place, lacks enough staff"
Southern Pines is okay. The place is clean, and the workers are nice. But, they seem stretched pretty thin. They're always rushing around, and it's tough to catch their attention. And once you get help once, it feels like they cross your name off a list, and you won't get any more help that day.

It was great. I'd give them a ten if I could.

"Smooth experience, but transition support lacking"
Our experience with Southern Pines was really good. The place itself was nice, and they took great care of our loved one. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and acted professionally. However, when it was time for my loved one to move to a higher level care facility, they could have helped us better. I had lots of questions about the move, but hardly anyone returned my calls.
