"Friendly Staff and Tasty Food!"
The place is pretty, and my dad really enjoys the food. People are friendly to him even when he can be a bit overwhelming.

"Facility Feels Institutional, Seeking Homier Environment for Husband"
The tour was okay, the facility was fine. It felt too much like a hospital. We wanted a homier place for my husband.

"Friendly Staff and Tasty Food!"
They’ve been really helpful when we needed it, and they’re very kind to my dad. The staff communicates well when I have questions. My dad lives independently, so they serve lunch every day, and he’s happy with the food.

"Nice place, but renovations made rooms too big for us"
I liked this place, but they are going through a renovation right now. The two-bedroom apartments (which were amazing) were just too big for my loved one's needs.

"Assisted Living Review: Caring Staff, Room Issues, Average Food Quality"
The Retreat at Loganville shows genuine care for residents. Meals need improvement. Loved one enjoys nice independent living apartment. Staff responsive to maintenance requests.

"Needs Improvement, But Has Potential"
The place feels kind of old, and it seems like they’re trying to fix things up, but there’s not a lot of change happening right now. There aren’t enough fun things to do, and we’re not sure if there will be rides when we need them. Also, someone was smoking inside near the rooms, which really bothered my family member. They’re supposed to smoke outside, but some folks just aren’t listening, and that’s not cool.

"Friendly staff, clean place, good food, and activities before lockdown"
This is a great place for our loved one. The staff is friendly, and the community is clean. Before the pandemic lockdown, the food was pretty good, and they even had activities.

"Mixed Experience with Pet Policy and Amenities at The Retreat"
During our tour, The Retreat seemed less pet-friendly compared to other places. Our loved one's service dog wasn't well accommodated, despite legal requirements. Also, the amenities were basic, and the apartments lacked cabinet space.

"Assisted Living Tour Experience Review"
Our family went on a tour in person. It was a pretty good tour. We're still thinking about it, but the layout of the room our loved one would have wasn't going to work. We didn't need a separate cottage for our loved one.

"Great care options, needs better housekeeping and communication"
The housekeeping here really needs to get better. Meals are served very early. There are daily activities, which is nice. Having a doctor on staff is great because they have a portable x-ray machine. However, the response time when you press the call button needs to improve. Communication from management to families also needs work. But I do like that they offer different levels of care, from independent living to memory care, all in one place.
