"Mixed Feelings About The Gardenias Assisted Living"
We picked The Gardenias because I needed short-term care, not permanent. They were flexible with my needs. Prices were reasonable. Rooms were spacious. Food lacked variety and wasn't great. Overall, it depends on the person's needs, but I might recommend it.

"Caring Staff, Good Communication at Assisted Living"
My mom enjoyed her time here. The staff took good care of her, although they could have been quicker answering the phone. Overall, they did their best and kept me informed about my mom’s care.

"Caring Staff Provide Comfortable Care for Mom with Dementia"
I've had my mom here for a short time. The staff are caring and friendly, especially with dementia patients. Even though no place feels like home, I trust their care. I can't visit often, but I'm comfortable knowing mom is cared for. I appreciate everything they do and hope someone cares for them too.

"Lacks Privacy for Mom"
The assisted living facility is designed for memory care and has shared rooms, but it doesn't meet my Mom's privacy needs.

"Assisted Living Facility Lacks Professionalism and Cleanliness"
I wasn't really wowed by this place. The building looked good but it was dirty. When I dropped by, there should've been some fun stuff happening but there wasn't anything. They had a menu written by hand that seemed like it was meant for kids. The also hand-written schedule of activities included a lot of TV and group singing. I felt like these were only put up for display if state officials ever showed up. I didn't see any staff or people living there. When I mentioned this, I was told the workers were likely out back. One staff member was asked to come say hello, but they just walked past with a smile. They weren't in scrubs but everyday clothes. Everything about my experience showed me this place wasn't managed too well.

"Great aunt happy but needs more activities"
My great aunt has been here without any problems. She's happy in this community and hasn't complained at all. I just wish there were a bit more activities for her.

"Unpleasant Staff and Lackluster Services at Assisted Living Facility"
The employees here can be impolite and they don't have the proper training needed to care for residents effectively. The food isn't tasty and there are no engaging activities. The boss does not take responsibility for any issues.
