"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Overall, there are some really nice caregivers. The person who plans activities is AWESOME! The chef is AWESOME too! But, the cleaning crew needs improvement. When they mop, the floor ends up sticky — maybe too much soap? Also, residents' rooms often smell bad.

"Active Senior Dad Finds Joy and Care"
The team at the facility was super helpful. The outdoor space is great, and I can picture my Dad enjoying himself there. He’s 91 but still loves to stay busy, and I think he’d have fun gardening in the raised beds. It’s awesome that they have church services on Sundays and a group for the guys to talk about life. The room we saw has a small kitchen and enough space for a big bed, but I think a smaller bed might give him more room. I’m still a bit worried it might be too small for him. They also take folks on trips and do health check-ups, which is really nice.

"New Marketing Person Shines in Elder Care Knowledge"
Even though it's not officially an Assisted Living facility yet, I didn't get the right vibe for. However, the new Marketing person,, was really helpful and knowledgeable about elder care.

"Helpful staff despite cramped rooms."
I didn't really like the place and the rooms were super small, but this lady named was amazing! She called me and gave me more ideas, and she's really nice. She even stayed late after she finished work to show me around when I visited last month.

"Avoid This Facility: Poor Care, Dirty Rooms, Stolen Belongings"
I suspect the staff wrote their positive reviews. This place is a nightmare. They offer no activities for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's. Attention towards these patients is severely lacking. They're kept in a locked area where the only thing to do is watch TV non-stop. The rooms reek due to lack of cleaning. The staff is just occupied with using their cell phones. Resident belongings have a habit of disappearing. Special rates promised at sign-up won't be respected so expect unexpected bills. As for medication, it's hard to tell given the high anxiety levels in patients. Do not trust this place with your loved ones. They seem more interested in their profits than patient care.

"Steer Clear: This Facility Demonstrates Unreal Care for Alzheimer's Patients!"
I get the feeling that the staff wrote all those other glowing reviews to keep their image afloat. This place is atrocious! There aren't any activities designed for people suffering from dementia or Alzheimer's. The care given to these patients is minimal at best. They're confined to a locked area, with their only form of entertainment being a TV. The rooms reek because nobody bothers to clean them, and the staff is always distracted by their cell phones. Items belonging to the patients inexplicably disappear. Even though they advertise special prices when you're signing the papers, be prepared for a nasty surprise in your mailbox later. As for medication, I'm not even sure if it's given properly given the high anxiety levels seen in the patients. Keep this in mind – if your loved ones need assistance, don't place them in this facility. All they seem to care about is your money.

"Great tour guide, friendly staff, needs upgrades, clean Memory Care."
Our tour guide was awesome! Everyone we met there was nice and professional. The place could use some improvements, but they're working on it. The Memory Care area looked clean and bright, although there was a bit of a smell that bothered us. Overall, it seems like a nice place for assisted living.

I really enjoy this place, but charging an extra $500 just to check my mom's blood sugar seems way too much.

"Kind staff and clean, but too far away"
The tour my loved one and I took of this place was great. The staff was really kind and made sure to answer all our questions. The building was very clean, and they offered lots of different bedroom options. Unfortunately, the location was just too far for our family.

"Amazing Staff, But More Needed for Resident Ratio"
The staff here are really great. They take good care of everyone, but there was one time when something happened and it took a while for them to notice. The housekeeping team does a good job keeping her room neat and tidy. The whole place is clean and doesn't have any bad smells. My only worry is that there seem to be a lot of residents for the number of staff.

"Billing Process Challenges"
It's quite good overall. The only problem we've encountered is coordinating billing and paperwork. The place is clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. My only gripe is the billing process.

"Dissatisfied with Emeritus Assisted Living Experience"
My dad lived at Emeritus at Spring Mountain for over a year. During this time, he fell multiple times and, in my opinion, he didn't receive the proper care. Despite having diabetes, he was given insulin when his blood sugar was already too low. Moreover, he was losing weight drastically--25lbs-- because the food provided was not appealing in taste or quantity. When he ended up in hospital, then rehab, the facility refused to readmit him on his last day of rehab treatment. This put us in a tight spot, trying to find a new assisted living facility in a single day. We had already paid for the full month but have yet to receive any refund for the remaining days. Whenever I call the facility, the response is always the same - that they'll look into it. I am planning on making a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau and reaching out to the corporate office to get this resolved.

"Happy residents, but prefer one level"
Overall, it was a four. It was a little bigger—two stories. I prefer everything on one level for my mom. I was there for one activity, and the leader was very interactive with the residents. All the residents looked very happy.

"Clean, but food program needs improvement; nice amenities and outings."
I really like it here. It's nice and clean. But, I'm not a big fan of the food. It seems like it's always noodles. And they don’t give bread unless you ask. My parents feel the same way. But, they do have a nice courtyard for everyone, and they plan outings too.

"Decent Looking Place but Lousy Staff, Declining Care Quality"
The exterior and bedrooms of this place seem pretty okay. However, the employees are a problem. They're sluggish and irregular when it comes to handing out medicines and testing for diabetes. They're not giving the standard of care we're paying them to provide. She's only lived there for five weeks and it's already getting worse.

"Assisted Living Facility: Disorganized, Misleading, but Appealing on Surface"
This place seems all over the place. When I checked it out, I didn't notice the mess. They nod along with you, but then do things differently behind your back. They showed us one room but swapped it with another, and the carpets weren't clean like they promised. The room they first showed had a kitchen, but the one we got didn't. The showers were different too. The one they showed us was easy to use with a chair, but the one we got has a step. They said we needed a certain care level, but it didn't cover what they said it would, so we had to pay more. They're not bathing her enough or doing laundry on time. The records for medications are messy, and sometimes they're late with them. We can only use one home health care company, unless they don't offer what we need. The cost seems too high for what you get. They do offer plenty of activities. The food's not very exciting, but it's okay to eat.

"Cozy Assisted Living with Convenient Location, Limited Space"
Visited on 2/2/13 with my parents. The place had a great vibe and felt lively. The rooms were quite small, with only two one-bedroom options available. One more will be available soon. I don't think my parents would be comfortable in a studio here. The fact that there's a Publix right next door is both good and bad. It's convenient, but the view outside isn't the prettiest.
