"Feels Like Home!"
This place is super nice, bright, and friendly. The patients in the Memory Care unit look happy and engaged. We picked this facility because we thought my mom would feel more at home here.

Manor House and the whole team get a big thumbs up! Knowing that your loved one is cared for with love and compassion is priceless. My mother is in the Memory Care section, and it is set up and managed very well.

"Special care and love for residents."
Amanda is an amazing leader for the caregiving team. She truly cares about the residents and won’t tolerate any mistreatment, whether real or imagined. All the caregivers really love the residents. My parents both have dementia, and they treat them with dignity and respect. I found a bigger facility closer to my house, but I couldn’t make the move. I just couldn’t leave because the love the caregivers give is very special. Amanda, Jennifer, Leigh, and Mark are the caregivers who really stand out for my family.

"Very Pleased!"
It's been wonderful. We are very pleased. They are concerned and take good care of the residents. We liked the overall appearance and how nice and clean it is inside. Everyone is very friendly. They were the nicest and least expensive of all the places we looked at.

"Need better help for new residents coming in."
We are very happy at Oxton Place of Gainesville. One thing they should improve is having someone to help new residents get oriented. When we arrived on the first day, no one was around to assist us. They didn't even get her medicine that day. Overall, it has been a good experience. They just need a better system for new residents.

"Mom Is Happy, Eating, and Making Friends"
Our 90-year-old mom just moved into the facility, and it's so nice to see her enjoying meals and making new friends. Her room is beautiful, and she has her own shower, plus help whenever she needs it. The place is lovely, and the staff is friendly and always ready to help.

"Staff Qualified for Basic Care Only"
The medical staff, with the trained individuals that Oxton Place hired, are ready to take care of people who need a certain level of care. They use a scale system to evaluate a resident's care, but they don't have enough staff for the higher levels.

"Very nice place!"
We're very happy with how things have turned out at Oxton Place of Gainesville! The place got new owners earlier this year, and they seem to be doing a great job! The owners are on-site often and really care about making it a good place for the residents. They've hired caring and friendly staff! The facility is well-kept and clean, and every time I visit, Mom and Dad rave about how good the food is!

"Beautiful, but pricey - 4 stars"
I visited this place while searching for care for my relative. Oxton Place looked really fancy! The building was super clean and neat, and all the staff I met were nice and seemed like pros. But it cost way more than other places we checked out. We picked a different community eventually. But if we had tons of money I might've thought about it for my loved one.

"Mixed Experience at Oxton Place of Gainesville"
We had a mixed experience with Oxton Place of Gainesville. It didn't quite fit well for my loved one, and the facility seemed to be going through some challenges. The director was nice, and the staff were friendly, but there was noticeable disorganization. Maintenance issues took a while to resolve since they shared staff with another facility. While they had plenty of activities, they weren't quite suitable for my higher-functioning loved one. Overall, it's not a bad place, but I wouldn't recommend it for those with higher-functioning family members.

"Decent, but not perfect fit at Oxton Place of Gainesville"
Our time at Oxton Place of Gainesville was okay, but not great. My family member didn't really fit in well there and the place seemed to be sorting out some new stuff. We really liked the person in charge and everyone who worked there was nice. But, they seemed to be a bit mixed up and didn't always fix stuff quickly because they had to share handymen with another place. They had fun stuff for the people living there to do, but it wasn't the right kind of fun for my family member who could do more than most of the others. It's not a bad place, but I wouldn't tell people with family members who are really active to go there.

"Great Care and Friendly Staff at Oxton Place"
Our mom has been living at Oxton Place (used to be Summer's Landing) for over a year. We've been really happy with the staff's attitude and the care they give. The place is always clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. New owners took over earlier this year and have been upgrading the services and the facility. The residents are encouraged to join in fun and stimulating activities. Even though there have been some staff changes recently, the care level has stayed high, with the staff always alert and aware of our mom's health.

"A Safe and Caring Home for Mom"
My mother-in-law spent her last months in a safe, welcoming place that felt like family. As her health needs grew, we found a clean and bright facility with lots of activities and friendly residents. Everyone who visited commented on how nice and tidy the rooms were. She loved the games, craft room, and going out to eat on the bus. The hair salon was a nice extra, especially in winter. I also appreciated the staff; they often calmed her when she felt anxious. I’m thankful for the wonderful care Mom received. Thank you all!
