"Assisted Living Facility Needs Improvement, But Staff Are Kind"
My mom's experience hasn't been great. Her roommates are loud, and the staff don't do anything about it. It feels like no one watches over the floors at night. It's getting pretty bad, and we're thinking about taking her out. I don't think they have enough help for all the people who live there. The food is okay but not yummy. They don't have much variety, so it's the same stuff every day. It's not as good as what we expected for the money we pay. The good thing is the place itself is nice, and the staff who are there are really nice and helpful. They try their best to fix problems quickly.

"Great care and peace of mind at The Oaks"
My mom has been at the Oaks for almost a year. She moved from assisted living to the memory care unit during her stay. I couldn’t be happier with her care. The staff truly cares about her and treats her well. Although it is expensive, it’s worth it for my peace of mind. As a nurse, I am very particular about her care and surroundings.

"Caring and Kind Staff, Highly Recommended"
The management staff are caring and engaged with the residents. They show the residents love and speak to them kindly. The caretakers address the residents by name, and I've always seen a kind word and concern for their needs.

"Review of The Oaks - Perfect care for my parents!"
I looked at four places before finding "The Oaks." It’s a true answer to my prayers. My dad is 96, and my mom is 93. I don’t worry about them because I know the amazing staff is taking care of them with love. Whenever I have questions or concerns, management is quick to help.

"Feels like going home"
I'm a nurse who sees lots of patients in various facilities/assisted living places. Without a doubt, The Oaks at Braselton is my favorite. It's not the most modern or the newest, but it is the warmest, most caring, and most welcoming of all. It feels like home, not like a hotel. It's comfortable, safe, and cozy. From the top-level management to every staff member, these folks really care and know their residents. They truly care when something happens to a resident. They remember details about them—little things they like or don't like. They laugh with them, engage with them, and are patient with them. It's like being with family. I would place myself or a family member there without any hesitation!

"Community clean, but not as nice as our final choice!"
This community was pretty neat, but it wasn't as fancy as the one we picked. It was pretty decent for the price. The people living there had bigger health issues than my mom. The person in charge was friendly.

"The Oaks staff truly cares for the elderly!"
We've only been at The Oaks for a little while, but it seems our mother is fitting in well. She looks forward to each day and stays busy helping others. It gives her a sense of purpose. Thank you to The Oaks staff, who truly care for older people who don’t need to be alone. They show love to these elderly folks and give them a reason to get up in the morning.

"I’m really impressed with this place."
I’m really impressed with this place. My loved one stayed for a short time, and they are very family-oriented, friendly, and responsible. The staff engaged not just with my loved one, but with all the residents. They really seem to care about everyone there. The food was great too! I would definitely choose their services again if needed.

"Nice place, but lacks independent cottages and pricey compared to others."
The place was really nice. They don't have houses you can live in by yourself. I think that's more what we were looking for. It cost more than the place we picked.

My mother absolutely loves living at The Oaks at Braselton in Hoschton, GA. She’s so much happier—eating better, sleeping better, and even looks better! After losing 20 pounds, she’s gained back 3 pounds, and her mood is much brighter. Mom adores the staff and administration; everyone is so helpful, friendly, and cheerful. It truly feels like a big family, which she really enjoys. Seeing everyone pitch in to get things done is wonderful. We couldn’t be happier! Thank you, Dawn, Melodie, and Mary Brown, for helping us find this amazing place.

"Impressed by the friendly staff and spacious living areas"
I was really impressed! The staff is super friendly, and the assisted living rooms are huge. They come with a refrigerator, microwave, and cabinets. The memory care rooms feel like a hotel, with a bedroom that has enough space for a sitting area and a big bathroom. There are plenty of staff members around to help out.
