"Lackluster Assisted Living Facility: Inadequate Training, Security, and Assistance"
This place isn't run right. Stuff went missing. They didn't help at night or late. Waste of money on a call button they never answered. Make sure you know everyone taking care of your loved one, and check the care plan and bills. Ask about staff training. If your loved one needs lots of help, find somewhere else. If they can do things on their own, they might be fine. We paid too much for what we got.

"Dishonest Salesperson, Terrible Experience at Phoenix Dunwoody"
My family member used to stay at The Phoenix at Dunwoody and honestly, it was pretty awful. The person who sold us on the place didn't seem honest, like they were keeping stuff from us. Overall, it was a bad time and I wouldn't suggest The Phoenix at Dunwoody to anyone else.

"Great Care, Some Issues"
Overall, I’d give it 4 stars. Recently, my mom had skin issues near her coccyx, and she seemed dehydrated. Each caregiver listened to me, but my suggestions weren’t really taken. The whole staff was good. They quickly sent my mom to St. Joseph one evening, where her skin problems got worse, and she declined rapidly. The manager in charge deserves a 5; I don’t want to harm his job. I think he did his best.

"Consider other options; friendly staff, but services and food lacking."
I suggest checking out other places. The people working here are nice and helpful, but some things they offer aren't as good as they should be. The food doesn't taste great, and there aren't many options. Also, some staff members have left recently.

"Positive Experience with Assisted Living, Staff Excellent, Some Admission Issues"
We've had a great experience. One issue was unclear explanations during application. We did some medical stuff early to spread it out. Later, we had to redo it quickly due to time limits not explained. Admissions and medical process were complicated. Since settling in, visits are patient, gracious, and helpful answering questions. Best part is staff going above and beyond regularly. They help our loved ones with different needs stay together. One with Alzheimer's fears leaving her room, but staff tries many times to help her feel safe and come out. Personal efforts help loved ones adjust. Many positive experiences here. Food is enjoyable. Activities like puzzles, TV, games, available. Overall, good value despite high medication costs. Still recommend them. Feel secure with loved ones' wellbeing protected.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
This place is run well. They've been great during the pandemic, enforcing rules to keep everyone safe. The staff is wonderful. They just remodeled everything, and it looks really nice now.

"Inadequate Care and Theft at Senior Living Facility."
This facility is absolutely the pinnacle of terrible. The employees here couldn't care less about their jobs. My mom, while under their supposed 'care', was robbed of her wedding band and ring and there was no effort from , the boss of this place, to solve this issue. Her friends from church or elsewhere were not even allowed to visit her. Subpar would be an overstatement when talking about feeding and general care here. Stay away from this place; all that matters to them is your cash. Opt for a different facility or you'll be filled with regret.

"Phoenix: High Staff Turnover and Disregard for Resident's Belongings"
Extremely unprofessional with a very high staff turnover. This place has seen 3 directors come and go over the span of 1.5 years. The individual in charge of the memory care section, is the most unprofessional, rude, and uneducated employee - and he is running the show. My family member lost a lot of her things and nobody seems to know or even care about it. Most of the time, the staff's response to questions is "I don't know, I am new here." I feel terribly sorry for the residents in memory care. It really seems like Phoenix only cares about the person who pays the bills.

"Great staff, but we chose a bigger place"
We were looking for a place for our mom that could help her with daily activities because she has bad arthritis. She also wanted a community where she could stay mentally and socially active. In the end, we picked another community because it was bigger, had larger rooms with a kitchenette, and was closer to her doctors. and the staff here seem great!

"Satisfying Visit to Assisted Living Facility"
She was our salesperson, and she was great. She was friendly, professional, and answered all our questions without being pushy. The people living there that we talked to seemed happy with where they were living. The studio we saw was big and pleasant. The place was quiet. It was good to meet the director. The only thing I didn't like was that the shared spaces didn't have enough color and were a bit boring.

"Positive Experience at The Phoenix at Dunwoody Assisted Living"
She was great and answered all my questions. My Mom needs more help than her current place and The Phoenix at Dunwoody was a good choice. The price was right for me, and other people living there seemed happy. The studio I saw was big and roomy. Overall, it was a good tour.
