"Manager's nice, not enough social interaction, atmosphere's depressing."

The manager was really friendly and there were only about 15 people living there. I was hoping for a place with more social activities. The overall mood of the place was a bit gloomy, which was a downer.

"Unprofessional Staff and Poor Conditions at Assisted Living Facility"

The staff at this assisted living facility is downright disrespectful and untruthful. They've been looking after my mom for nearly 2 years and it's gotten to the point where I'm upset. She's always unclean with greasy hair, left in solitude in her room for most of the day, and they won't let her communicate with her family. I've witnessed the employees shouting at other residents for no valid reason. One occasion, when I was visiting, the staff hollered at my mom's roomie, telling her to be quiet and stay in bed, before leaving them alone, despite their pleas for assistance. They've shown no qualms about ignoring the residents' calls for help, stating that they would be right back, only to head out and lounge in the common room, using their phones or watching TV. On multiple instances, the staff have deceived us about the reasons why my mom isn't able to chat on the phone. We've exposed their lies when they claimed to have given my mom, who can't even speak, the phone, but actually left it in an unoccupied room. Just recently, I received a troubling call from them asking for a resident whose name wasn't my mother's. This mix up sent panics down my spine, but it turned out they had simply mixed up her name. How could they not know her name, after two whole years of service?! When I brought up my concerns to the higher-ups, their cold response was that they didn't have an extra 10 minutes daily to provide my mom with individual care. Out of the entire day, they couldn't give her merely 10 minutes. I'm always seeing the staff lazing around doing nothing whenever I make a visit. They try to fool us with false claims of faulty phone lines, while they can happily use my mom's hard-earned money on unnecessary new flooring rather than repair the phone line that would be of huge benefit to everyone in the facility. A while ago, my mom fell out of her wheelchair since it wasn't properly secured. The staff informed me about it, but they were chuckling in the background of the call. My mom wasn't injured but their behaviour was shockingly distasteful. I strongly suggest you consider other places to care for your loved ones!

"Communication Challenges: Waiting for Response in Elder Day Care"

It's hard to reach the front desk. Still waiting for a call back after four days. It wasn't like this before. Only using them for Elder Day care now.

"Good for Memory Care, but no off-site outings"

The Phoenix at Roswell used to be just for Memory Care. They do a good job with that, but they aren’t as good with residents who can do more on their own. I was a bit sad they don’t have any trips away from the facility.

"Mixed Performance for The Phoenix at Roswell"

The Phoenix at Roswell used to be a Memory Care-only place. They’re good at that, but it seems they struggle with residents who need more independence. I was a bit let down that they don’t organize any outings away from the facility.

"Caring, Patient Staff"

Overall, they've done a good job at The Phoenix at Roswell. The staff are caring and patient, and I'm grateful they were willing to work with my loved one, despite his aggressive tendencies. The facility is well-kept and clean, and they do a good job looking out for the residents.

"Pacifica Stay"

My husband has been at Pacifica for about a month. He has Parkinson's Dementia, which makes it impossible to keep him at home due to major personality changes. He can turn from sweet to angry in seconds. The folks at Pacifica have created a calm, structured environment that works well for him. He is now usually calm, and the staff say he is helpful and concerned for other residents. Though usually a loner, he participates in exercises and encourages others. The staff learned who he is quickly. He is well treated, which keeps his anger in check. Pacifica is clean with lots of sunlight in the main rooms. Residents can wander from one open center room to the next, always in view of caregivers and nurses. They can lie on couches, watch TV, do crafts, or play games. There are exercise times, afternoon snacks, and water is always available. Every evening has a planned activity like movies with popcorn or games. There's much more good stuff to say, but I tend to go on. I hate that I can't keep him at home, but he is getting top quality care at Pacifica.

"Review of Memory Care at Pacifica Senior Living Roswell, GA"

The place is pleasant, and the staff knows a lot about memory care.

"Smooth Sailing at All-Inclusive Memory Care"

This place is all about memory care, and that’s why we picked it. They organize outings for mobile residents and keep everyone engaged. Although new management is a bit nerve-wracking, things are going smoothly. No food complaints—it’s a straightforward, all-inclusive fee.

"Going Well So Far"

This place is all about helping people with memory issues. They take the residents who can move around on fun trips, and they make sure everyone stays involved. There’s new management, which can be a bit nerve-wracking since things are going smoothly. But no one’s complaining about the food. Unlike other places, they charge a flat fee that covers everything.

"Very Nice Place"

Overall, they did a great job here. It was a nice, clean place. The caregivers were friendly, professional, and took good care of my loved one's needs. We've had to search for senior living for another relative and were disappointed there wasn't a Pacifica facility near them since we had such good luck with this one.

"Fantastic Memory Care Facility with Friendly Staff and Great Rooms!"

This place is amazing! I really like that it focuses only on memory care. The staff are super friendly, and the rooms look great. I'm very happy with this choice and hope it will be my in-laws' new home!

"Great care and supportive environment for memory care residents"

We’re really happy with the care here, especially through the renovation challenges. The staff has kept a skilled, caring, and loving team for the memory care residents. The building’s open design makes it easy to get around, whether you’re walking or using a wheelchair. We can’t wait for the renovation to be finished.

"Stay Clear: Poor Leadership and Disorganized Staff"

This place has had lots of different owners and managers. They've never been well-organized, and there's no steady person in charge. This means no one is keeping an eye on the workers to ensure they're doing their duties. Plus, the staff has no guidance, so they just do what they want.

"Awful Place for Your Loved Ones"

I wouldn't even let my pet stay there, it's a terrible location for your loved ones.

"New Owners Tank Quality, Prompt Family to Find New Place"

My family member was living here and they were doing alright. But then, a bigger company bought this place and things started going downhill. Don't get me wrong, they still take decent care of folks here, and the nursing staff is doing their best. However, dealing with the new bosses is a nightmare. They hardly ever communicate properly, and it got so bad that we had to move my family member to another place.

"Memory Care Only Facility: Pleasant staff, Big Rooms, One Level."

This place is only for Memory Care patients. Pretty nice people. The staff seemed a bit young and maybe not as skilled. The rooms are spacious and it's all one floor.

"Cozy atmosphere, top choice."

Liked the cozy atmosphere here. Seemed like a good mix of assisted living and memory care. Top choice.
