The Renaissance on Peachtree

"Small Community, Warm Staff, Stable Services Despite Turnover"
There's a lot of staff changes, but it doesn't really change how things are done. It's a small place and easy for residents to handle, unlike big places. The staff is very kind and caring!

"Long Tour, Fancy Atmosphere, Not Middle-Class Friendly, Okay Cookies"
We went to Renaissance on Peachtree for a tour, and it lasted like two hours! It was our first tour ever, so I sort of liked how they asked about our needs, which helped me think of questions for other places. But it was just too long. At least they gave us cookies, which was good because I was starving after all that time. I'm not sure if you tell people where to go, but I wouldn't recommend it for middle-income folks. The place felt kind of cold and fancy. I've been middle class all my life, and as soon as I was alone with my spouse, I said, "even if we had the money, there's no way mom would feel comfortable there.

"Going the Extra Mile for Residents"
They really go out of their way to assist residents wherever they can.

"Inadequate Care and Unresponsive Staff at Assisted Living Facility"
I can't speak for the retirees, but the assisted living care here is less than adequate. There's no care plan, which is a problem because he's fallen out of bed multiple times. The staff promises to return my calls but I'm not hearing back from them. They're polite and the place looks great, but the staff response just isn't there. I'm not sure why since that's what we're paying for.

"Lacking Amenities: We Chose Elsewhere"
We thought the assisted living place didn't impress us during the tour. They didn't provide three meals a day, five days a week, nor a free gym membership. The lack of amenities led us to choose a different facility.

Although we haven’t experienced this community firsthand, we chose Renaissance on Peachtree because it’s a beautiful place.

"Spacious Unit, Disappointing Meals: Mixed Experience"
My in-laws really like their spacious unit with plenty of storage, but the meals have been a letdown. The community is understaffed, especially in housekeeping and maintenance. Front desk staff aren’t attentive, and communication issues persist.

"Unhappy Resident Plans to Leave Assisted Living"
I’m not a fan of this place and I’m moving out soon. The meals here aren’t tasty, so I cook for myself. My apartment has two bedrooms and it’s pretty spacious. It’s one of the largest ones available here. Things were nicer before the pandemic. Now, we’re stuck indoors. And if you end up in the hospital, you come back to quarantine.

"Change and COVID Affect Community Rating"
We picked this place because the staff (names not shown) are great, and it’s super close to our home, just half a mile away. My parents’ apartment is just the right size and it’s pretty new, which we like. They started off living on their own but are getting ready to have some help without needing to move somewhere else. The place is under new bosses now. If you asked me before they came and before COVID-19, I’d give it a perfect score. But things aren’t as good anymore. They stopped making meals here because of the virus. The food used to be awesome, but not so much now. I can’t say I’d tell people to move here at the moment, with the new bosses and the virus going on.

"Assisted Living: Clean, Caring Staff, Room Service Meals, Could Improve Activities"
This place works hard to keep everything clean. The staff is really nice; they bring us our meals in our rooms, which is super helpful. The food tastes good, but it might make you gain some weight. The only downside is they can't cater to special diets. Before Covid-19, they had enough things to do, but they could've had more fun stuff.

"Welcoming Staff, Good Food, Small Rooms"
The staff at this place is really friendly. The food options and menu are really good. There's a lot of activities for the residents and they're pretty active. But the rooms are too small for my power wheelchair and the parking isn't great for guests.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
This community was nice, but I didn’t think it would meet my loved ones’ needs. The people we met were friendly, and they offer daily activities.

"Well-Maintained Facility with Great Amenities, Some Social Challenges"
I really like how this place is always in good shape and has lots of nice things for everyone living here. The people who work here have been really nice to my mom and have tried their best to help her with everything she needs. I do wish that some of the other people who live here were easier to talk to and nicer to my mom.

"Warm Community with Room for Improvement"
The people who work here are really nice and helpful. They listen to suggestions and try to make things better. The food is pretty good, like a seven or eight out of ten. Maybe they could use a few more people to bring the food out faster because sometimes it's cold. There's a new chef who's making things a little better and even asking the people who live here what they think. The birthday parties are really fun, and everything is very clean. They have things to do every day, and I would tell my friends to come here too.

"Mixed Experience at The Renaissance on Peachtree Assisted Living"
The Renaissance on Peachtree is a wonderful community! My mother-in-law enjoyed everything except the food. The meals and service weren't great; we found them disappointing when we dined there. The head nurse in assisted living, makes the place outstanding!
