"Bad Management and Staffing Issues at Assisted Living Facility"
This place doesn't follow staffing regulations. Since new owners took over in July, it's been terribly managed and there's been a noticeable drop in staff. I heard that the management is making the staff work ridiculous hours and just don't seem to care. The way they treat the residents is just terrible and heartbreaking.

"Friendly Assisted Living Facility with Room for Communication Improvement"
I really like this place. It's really good. You can choose what you want to eat, like ordering a la carte, and the food is fresh and not processed. For instance, you can get a tasty piece of salmon with potatoes and veggies. Most of the staff are great. The one downside is they don't communicate well within their different groups, so it's confusing to figure out who to talk to when you have a problem. I think it would be helpful if they made a plan that shows how everything works. Despite that, it's a pretty nice place overall.

"Affordable and suitable short-term care for mom's recovery needs."
It was just what we needed. My mom had shoulder surgery and needed to be somewhere she could get monitored, fed, and assisted if necessary for two weeks. This place was the only nearby option that offered short-term care at a reasonable cost. I felt it was a good deal and the most affordable choice.

"St. Gabriel: Close, Caring, and Yummy Food!"
We visited four places, and we picked St. Gabriel because it’s super close to my house. The director impressed me with how he treated the residents. My mom moved in right after COVID started calming down, so they were still getting staff back. She’s getting great care, and the food is delicious—chef-prepared! I’ve recommended them to others. I appreciate the relaxed vibe here.

"Inadequate Care and Poor Hygiene at Assisted Living Center"
This place is essentially an assisted living center with a locked door on the memory care section. The layout isn't designed for someone with memory issues to move about easily. The staff doesn't have the right training in memory care, and some of them were so heartless, they often made my dad upset. If I hadn't taken the initiative to bathe my dad, he would've constantly emitted a bad odor. They would simply dress him in clean clothes over dirty skin and never properly cleaned his teeth. The lack of supervision at night is shocking. I had to stay overnight multiple times before we moved dad out.

"Wonderful staff, very caring and helpful!"
The staff is amazing! My experience is mostly with the weekend team. They are very helpful, alert, and patient with the residents. They do many tasks, even beyond their job titles. You can see that the residents feel their love and care. The residents look happy and safe. Thank you!!

"Disappointing Experience at Thrive Assisted Living Memory Care"
My mom stayed at Thrive's Memory Care for six months. The care was not up to par. Most staff were young and inexperienced, lacking compassion. There were not enough staff, always rushed and sometimes annoyed. Administrators were unresponsive and absent. I've never seen anything like it. Moved mom to a better facility in Jefferson where staff and administration were superb. Wish she hadn't spent six months in a place focused on the building rather than residents' well-being.

"Fantastic Community, Thriving Mom"
Our experience has been awesome. Everything the community does is fantastic. The place is new, fresh, and clean. Everyone is really considerate, and the staff take pride in their jobs. They're always polite and caring with the residents. One time they even offered to make coffee, and they always go out of their way to make everyone feel cared for. My mom is thriving and looks much better.

"Good value and quality care!"
My mother-in-law moved here recently, and things are going well. She’s joining many activities the community offers and is adjusting nicely. She says the food is good, but I haven’t tried it. We picked this place because it has a good price for what they provide. It's also close to family and where she used to live.

"Mom's Settling in Nicely"
My mom is starting to get used to this place. She is hanging out with the other residents and getting comfortable here. This is a nice community, and I know she is being taken care of really well. The staff is great. They have activities for the residents and serve healthy meals. I would definitely recommend this community; it has been great for us.

"Definitely worth checking out!"
My husband is doing great here. The RNs are amazing and always available, even at night. They provide the care he needs. Everyone, from the activities director to the staff and residents, is wonderful. The meals are a five-star dining experience with full three-course meals or à la carte options. The chef is top-notch. They have activities every hour, like devotionals, care services, outings, and happy hour on Fridays. This place is definitely worth checking out.

"Highly recommend this caring facility!"
The staff is friendly, caring, and hardworking. They really try to make the residents feel at home. Moving a loved one to assisted living is tough, but everyone here—from management to housekeeping—made it as easy as possible. I strongly recommend this place for anyone with parents needing help. It costs a bit more than some nearby facilities, but the personal care the residents get makes it worth it.

"Great Care for Loved Ones"
This community is top-notch and brand new! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure my dad is well taken care of. The food is delicious, and he's settling in nicely. There could be more activities, but he's still getting used to the place. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent care for their loved one
