"Mixed Feelings on Bickford of Burlington Assisted Living"
Bickford of Burlington has really nice staff. I wasn't totally happy with the food, but overall, it's a nice community.

"Recommended but Pricey Assisted Living with Warm Atmosphere"
I would recommend this community to others, if you can afford it. It can be expensive. When I was there, I felt really comfortable. This was because of the friendly staff, nice decorations, and meals cooked right there. The activities here are good, and they change them to help the residents stay active. The only downside is they kept calling the main doctor to give more medicine to try to control my loved one's dementia. We moved my loved one because the doctor wouldn't give more medicine.

"Nice Facility with Fish and Bird Rooms, but No Openings"
The facility was nice to tour, but they didn't have any openings when we were looking for a place for my dad. The inside was decorated more like a home, with wider hallways, and there were even rooms for fish and birds. When we visited, the reception area had hot coffee and gave us a snack. The staff knew a lot about the facility and showed us some rooms that were already occupied so we could see what they looked like. Overall, the place was nice and the staff was helpful, but we needed to move my dad in right away, so we chose a different community.

"Happy with Care, Dad Enjoys Meals and Activities"
We're really happy with the care the folks at Bickford of Burlington give. They're great at letting me know how my dad's doing and what he needs. Dad's liking the food there 'cause they've got lots of different things to eat. Plus, there's fun stuff for everyone to do. Dad had a blast on Western Day when he got all dressed up like a cowboy. I think it'd be cool if they had more games like cribbage to get people hanging out more. Sometimes dad gets bored 'cause he's not into bingo, and they play it a lot.

"More Games Needed for Better Socializing at Bickford"
We are happy with the care the staff gives at the Bickford of Burlington. They do a good job talking to me about my dad's care. They have different meal options, and dad likes them. They also have activities for the residents. They had a Western Day, and dad got to dress up. I wish they had more games like cribbage to help the residents make friends. My dad gets bored sometimes because he doesn't like playing bingo, and they play bingo a lot.
